I thought Count Rossi’s Nine-Seventeen was registered in Alabama? Question: did customer 917s have the same intricate list of tube sizes that could indicate damage by oil pressure?
@@jockellis It was originally registered in Alabama, apparently at some point it was registered in Texas. There really weren't "customer 917s" this was something special Porsche did for Count Rossi, but I'm really not sure about the oil pressure thing.
Absolutely love these productions! The timing, intensity, and the concentrated accuracy are so on point! The subtle humour in this one too, perfection!
One of the finest, most exciting video edit. To Date. This holds everything about the 917,with in. I would have to say, the most perfect video,of this series car! Thank You !
Hi , Short Stand 917K Pan Am was pn 1478,5 hp The only small that fast true , with some Omg in think . As child with friend child they get it on with power to lost the concting rods that got hair breaks on. Left formed or right ... Only one noise met like more of V ! We cried like little childs , but know about all before with power ! I like this video and give on remember some time , move a friend on gocard be engine move that think , I know so much noise but that sounds never before heard ! :) So hammer and pulse of sky be remember on why ! ;)
One of the greatest sounding cars of all time and in race form I believe one of, if not the, most successful - and as a Porsche owner my favorite car of all time - and yes I had a Ferrari - or a Dino which is more or less the same thing - but it was ahem very expensive to maintain - can't imagine what this would be - but whatever it is it would be worth it!!! I am intrigued by one thing though - key start ignition? Either way - cool stuff
I’m really shocked as a car enthusiast about the fact that count Rossi lives in the apartment above mine and I have pictures of that car in parked in the building where I live!!
Very much not a joke. The fact that this car wears plates is historically very significant. I mean... this particular car generally is very historically significant, lol.
No country in Europe would register it in 1975, so Alabama of all places decided to register it, with the condition that it never got anywhere near the state. For one reason or another apparently it got registered in Texas, but expired in 1991.
Goosebumps.
Absolute perfection, car, and video.
No overly dramatic narration needed.
My only complaint is that it wasn't longer! What an amazing opportunity to film the Count Rossi 917 though. Amazing work

@@blairdrummond5043 Thanks. He probably had it’s registration moved to Texas so he could install a gun rack.
I knew it! The silver paint gave it away. If it’s not a replica, it must be Count Rossi’s car.
I own a collector-edition slot-car of this exact 917
Pretty cool. I like the TX plate from '91.
There's nothing that could make this video any better. Amazing work guys!
917 at a gas station, that's a sight to behold 😮
Absolutely love these productions! The timing, intensity, and the concentrated accuracy are so on point! The subtle humour in this one too, perfection!
Love the photography… so much respect for the 917

Amazing.
Lovely video ! keep up the good work guys !
Hey, this video needed to be about 3 or 4 hours long!
Would love a BTS!!
Is this a teaser for a longer film???
Cool , what part of texas ?
0:45 It sounds so demonic...
Texas plates on a 917, let's hope I see it on the roads around Austin! lol
What a torturous video, less than 3 minutes! Like a spoonful of chocolate cheesecake, not enough.

1:54 😆
OMG
We're in Texas?
fucking hell this is beautiful.
Pump gas? What octane?
Still owned by Manfredo Rossi di Montelera I suppose?
What a machine. I’d almost leave my wife for.
So when is this hitting the big screens near me?
Gas prices at $1.99, that was 20 plus years ago.
It's euro's, and it's per liter...
@@kurorintala no, America is the only place that exists in the world, don't you know anything?
if the government is not going to protect society from harm, it is up to the vigilante to improvise
Not bad at all.
The ass end of that car is so damn sexy looking
Forget the sound effects, and so many edits
At 2.7mpg you won't be getting across Texas in it. There aren't enough gas stations.
It would have been nice to have been able to see this beautiful car for more than 2 seconds.
Overfilmed.
Is the license plate a joke? How is that beast road legal, even if it is a Texas plate?
Very much not a joke. The fact that this car wears plates is historically very significant. I mean... this particular car generally is very historically significant, lol.

In France ……..
Look at those gas prices!
Pump gas? Really?
Yup!
Def. not Texas. Meh.
