We didn't choose to be in the family that we were born into. She is so close to her parents and shows her love for them, it’s something I don’t see in any other celebrity. I feel like I can relate to Taylor in more ways than one and I respect her for being so close to her mom like I am. Moms are our best friend and I’m so happy Taylor feels the same.
When this song first came out originally I ran to my granny (who raised me and adopted me at birth) and told her that it was our song. She smiled at me and listened to the whole song and agreed. Young Moms, please pass the camera to someone else and preserve memories of yourself with your family. Your kids will want them someday. Right? When this song was released I would listen to it and crave that kind of relationship with my own mother. Now, as this new version is released I have my own daughters and listen to this song hopefull that they'll think so highly of me when they're older.
