Randy, you had mentioned making certain models in the future. I really hope the Cardinal's style floor plan would be included in those models. I'm sure you already know that a first floor bedroom is good for people as they age, but this is a floor plan that appeals to a younger generation as well. My husband and I are in our early 30's, our daughter is 8, we've got a dog and a cat. Not only does this give parents some privacy, keeps my dog from chewing up my daughter's toys, it gives the cat some much needed time away from the dog up in the loft, AND it can turn into our forever home because we wont need to worry about climbing into a loft as we get older. If I were you when the Cardinal's move in, I'd try to recruit them like you did with Will and Becky. Gosh I really do LOVE this house, they're geniuses for coming up with this floor plan! I'm planning on having a down payment shortly after January and I will for sure be getting a floor plan similar to this! I can't even tell you how excited I am.
Love the layout, and the stairs....I would just make the bedroom a bit smaller and have a larger livingroom space. Thanks for sharing, I'm in Nova Scotia Canada, watch your stuff all the time.

Randy and Amanda need to pay the Cardinals for their tiny home floor plan designs, so that ITH can reproduce other tiny homes just like this one. I’m in love with this floor plan! As an older lady with a handicap, the all one level bedroom is ideal for me. The bathroom would/could be wheelchair accessible, with one side of the shower including a fold down shower chair/bench. Great job everyone, the bathroom is gorgeous! Love, Love, Love the outside storage area with 2 access doors. Could this be made into an off grid home? Can’t say enough about this tiny home, dream home coming to life, so well thought out! We know what this couple was doing during their pandemic time, researching, planning, taking screen shots and designing their RED BIRD ROOST. So very proud for the Cardinals seeing their dream come true.

Never heard Randy be so quiet in a video.😊😊 David and Karen’s house is beautiful...except for one thing; very little open living room space. 10 ft wide really makes a difference and the 30 inch stairs too and I love that window in the bathroom. Karen has a lovely laugh too. Are those tiles in the shower big panels or itty bitty tiles? It looks amazing and I love the pebbles in the floor. Gold stars to Mike the tiler.
Thanks for the kind words! We are planning on more outdoor living space and outdoor living as well. The porcelain tiles in the shower came as 12”x48” tiles. So, the window wall is the full length of the tile and the sides were cut down to 36”.Mike and Chuck are the builders and Will did the tile work. All did such great work!
Your forgetting that this lovely couple will be having 2 10ft x 10ft decks either side of the double doors. One may be a living/conservatory' covered in. I remember Randy showing another customer's. She had double doors & it opened out into a decking closed in. There was a stream in the background. I loved it. Moving to Florida. The other, I'm picking (I wish) loungers + hot tub. All together now aghhhh.......relax !!! Beautiful home 🏡, Excellent lay - out. Loving the spacious kitchen area. Well - done guys.❣️🇬🇧❣️

They make a collapsible ladder for camping, when it’s closed up you can hang it on the bathroom door! The home is adorable can’t wait to see it finished!

I use to manage a small motel in North Georgia and we had many motorcycle groups staying with us for weeks at a time. I made copies of a map with the Tail of the Dragon for then. They all loved it. I had a Silverado pickup truck at the time and decided to go with them a couple of times. It was a fantastic ride!

I would love a bay window seat in the master bedroom. That way you can sit and lounge on that and don’t take up room for another seat in the bedroom ! Great design 😊
That place is absolutely gorgeous!! Right now we have an almost 2100sq ft double wide that we bought because my mother was living with us and this space afforded her her own areas. Now she's gone and I'm not in the best of health (not to mention 63yrs old) and it's WAY too big for us. We literally live in about 1/3 of the house. That being said our master bedroom is 13'X28' which is great because we have 4 dogs that ALL sleep with us, BUT they're ALL seniors and I know our days with them are numbered so we're definitely looking to downsize dramatically. I can no longer do the cleaning this house requires and it's just my hubby and I. It has 4 bedrooms (we actually made the 1 bedroom off the living room an office for Mom), 2 living rooms, 2 baths and sits on 2 acres in the Smoky Foothills. It would be perfect for a large family with lots of kiddos!!
Love this couple - What a hoot!!! Hopefully, maybe twice a year you can have a community get together with everyone who wants to participate. If I could come up with that 39,900 I would buy that container home. Totally how much would I need to get it in the mountains! We owe 108,900 and our house appraised at 121,900 so I need to see how much I would need totally.

I island in the kitchen is nice but that’s where I’ll change it a bit bc there really no living room area. Really like the storage out back. This would be perfect either way 8-10 more feet in the middle for the living room. So glad to see that you can get a king size bed in the bedroom with enough room to walk around.

@@leahlandi143 the base price for our house at the time was 66k but with all of the additional upgrades we made our final price was around 92k. With all the necessary increases since then I would guess it would be closer to 110k these days, perhaps even a little more.

Lumber prices are starting to come back down... Inflation is still a issue, though...
