Bad Bats Bad Bats, whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when there's snot on you. You got a Red Potion, but more importantly, you got a BOTTLE! They really overdid it with the bottles in this game, though. I can't believe I never noticed that only Koume and Kotake kept their names from the first game. Of course I don't think a lot of characters like Anju even had names in the first one. The running man became the postman. So basically he was Schwarzenegger and now he's Kevin Costner.
Thx for saying that because I was going to get this game to play on the bus before school and I thought I hade to leave it on in my backpack and hope it doesn't die haha
Also, I really, REALLY hope that the 3DS remake of this game fixes the issues with the saving system, because that's pretty much what always turned me away from this game...
I agree with you on the save system. I bought the 3DS version when it came out, and I'm so glad they put the save points in. I never played the original MM (due to the lack of owning an N64) and I think I'd be frustrated with the game if they kept the original save system. Lol
I actually really like the saving system in majoras mask, I feel like it adds a extra dynamic to the game that makes sense and adds to the story of the game

I know its pointless saying this now but newer people that may watch this video might read this. Ok so when you leave clock town, exit on the goron's side (snow area) in this area (at night) there will be these mushroom shaped platforms like things that are tall and ontop of one will be a weird looking old man dancing you need to jump onto it and then play the song of healing the old man will then talk to you and give you his mask and tells you to make his dancing popular. Once you got the mask go back into clock town, (at night) next to the dojo there will be two ladies dancing, go up to them put on the mask the old man gave you and you hit B to start dancing. A cut scene will appear after that they will call you master and give you a piece of heart. Cheers ^^
The save system in majoras mask is great, it adds urgency. Saving anywhere and reseting like pokemon would be clunky for a tittle like this and no doubt be abused to avoid consequences.
I think the fact that the potion sisters are from ocarina of time contributes to the theory that majora's mask is kind of similar to link's awakening in that it perhaps didn't really happen - like an alternate universe or a dream or something? I don't know nearly enough about the lore and timeline to know but it's a really interesting theory :)
Had he gotten the mask from Guru-Guru then he could have went to Romani Ranch on Day 3 and used it to turn the chicks into roosters. That is what I do immediately on the first cycle that you become Link again as well as get the Bomb Bag and the Bigger Bomb Bag. The Bunny Hood is just that useful.

Actually, the hags could very well be Twinrova you fight in Ocarina of Time, due to the fact that they keep their names and when they are confronted by Link in OoT, he is an adult and you don't see them as a child, which means that the hag sisters could have lived in Termina for a period of time and when Ganon takes over Hyrule he summons them to guard the Spirit Temple in OoT, because he is well-aware of their power. Sorry for the long rant, just wanted to put that out there.
In regard to the WoW banner ad: They put that disclaimer on there to let people know that it is an online game. If the person saw the banner on a library/school/friends computer, they now know that they cant play it at their own house without a connection.

I think I could agree with MM not having the best save feature, I would say something about how you save in Skyward Sword like you always have to save at a Bird statue.
But Skyward Sword is full of these Bird Statues, and you can always go back to Skyloft of somewhere to the sky really fast! Unlike Skyward Sword, It's not as common (the Owl Statue) in Majora's Mask. Which is sad, because if I'm right, you can't save your game as a Deku until you played the Song Of Healing, because it doesn't let you hit the statue as a Deku. So that's sad!

I actually think that Koume and Kotake in this game are really the ancestors to the Koume and Kotake in Ocarina of time because they are old hays right now in MM, so they probably had children. The children would have grown up when Link was an adult.

I think the Keese in Majora's Mask are called Bad Bats when they're out of dungeons. I could be wrong, as it has been a few years since I played Majora's Mask, but I do remember an enemy called Keese in Majora's Mask.
Interesting he mentioned why people didn't like this game (The saving). I personally didn't care for this game because of that also. It was just really overwhelming coming from OoT to this. Kind of regret not playing it when I still had a n64 back then (Since I can't get use to emu controls lol).

FYI, in the 3ds remake, Turning back time will not save your game. As such, Owl statues became a Permanent save.

I, for one, really liked the save system in Majora's Mask. It gave the game a degree of challenge that isn't seen in any other Zelda title.
