so basically i’m a muslim girl and i really love nail art. it’s kinda hard to explain, but i can’t wear nails because i have to pray. before prayer we have to be in a state of ‘wudhu’ which is this little step by step thing with water you use to clean yourself, and it has to reach your nails to count. if the water doesn’t come in contact with your nails, then it doesn’t count and you won’t be able to pray. however, when it’s that time of the month you can’t pray, as in we don’t have to. i really wanna get my nails done but it’s no point paying so much money for only one week 😭😭. anyways, i really like this nail design but im not sure how i can turn them into press ons. i’m a total beginner, have no experience but i want to learn how to make press ons. something that really confuses me is the different between acrylic nails and gel nails, what i use for press ons, etc etc (yeah i basically have no idea what im doing) is it possible to send you a photo of the nails i want to make and if you can tell me how to make them/what i need to achieve it? tysm!
hey i’m a muslim girl too! i am trying to make press ons and i want to sell them so i’m researching how to do it. 1. you can buy nail tips basically it’s clear press on nails, and then paint on them. i found some on amazon, shein places like that. soft gel/ gel tips are the best to work with 2. from what i’ve learned gel is better because you can cure it with the UV light, but you need to be very safe about using it 3. regular nail polish air dries. i have regular but i wish i bought gel because it takes so long to dry. i still prefer it because it’s thin and easy to work with 4. you need to make the surface of the nail dry so you can use a nail file to make it rough. this way the nail polish applies evenly and goes flat 5. doing multiple thin coats and keeping it to only a few paint strokes is better than doing one thick coat. if you have any more questions let me know and i will try to answer them!!

Meanwhile Allah was first discovered by the Hebrew people, which are the ancestors of the Jews. And they don’t have that rule. Why change rules from the original people who met God first? Islam is the youngest religion out of the 3: first Jewish religion, then Christians, then came Islam in year 600.

No religion makes much sense but it’s peoples faiths and beliefs and we have to respect that. If she needs water to touch her nails to pray according to her faith, then we can maybe give helpful tips and suggestions for how to do that while still being able to wear fake nails sometimes. Otherwise, we can keep our comments to ourselves

I would love to create a press on nails for myself and maybe make it a business. Are there special tips which are for press on or anything full coverage goes? I have issues sizing myself, my nails are angular (wider at the end than at the cuticle). what fits cuticle is too narrow for free end and what fits free end cannot fit cuticle + it's too long to wear) what would you suggest in matter of shapes, tips etc. I especially do not want to order stuff from the internet just to find 99.9% is useless and wont fit.... What do you use to stick the nails on? How long does it last? How do you prep the natural nail? How do you take it of gently?
as far as the extensions it’s self i don’t use anything special! i just try to go for a sturdier one. and you can always file them to ur shape and size!

i thought you werent supposed to touch that solid gel with your hands because you can get contact dermatitis…. you should wear gloves if you wanna keep working with it 😢

you would have to use normal nail glue for these. the uv lamp wouldn’t be able to cure the glue because the nails aren’t clear so the light can’t get through. if you tried the nails most likely would not stay on or the glue wouldn’t cure fully, which could lead to you developing an allergy to the glue
You don’t need to apply base coat to plastic tips, you do need to apply base to real nails. And with both nail tips or real nails please put top coat at the end and cure on the uv lamp

Solid gel is surprisingly safer idk why, but you still should wear gloves just to prevent getting ur hand oils on it
