"Let's grab some protection" *Tiago's helmet floating on a sea of hair 12ft above his head*
Eifreit made my day 😂
I love it when you got so excited about rolling forwards with feet in a V shape.
Total beginner here - grabbed a pair of RB Cruisers yesterday and went from standing on carpet to moving on hardfloor with no problem. Today, however, I had my first fall and I fell backwards. My knees were bent but looking at this vid I realise maybe I should bend more and keep one foot in front of the other. Im wearing full protection (my old skateboard pads and guards) but still it shakes me when I fall (I’m 6’2 so it’s a big fall when I land 😂)
Your hair inside a helmet is one of the cutest things ever 😊
Great tips, it's always nice to see skaters of your level who remind what it was like being a beginner, and take the time and patience to teach accordingly from scrap.
Missed your videos!
I don’t think your fabulous hair was meant for a helmet :D
Isabela Hart it's double protection 🤣
@@TiagoInlineSkater im new
Nice! Tip 1 alone will help countless beginners.
Huh, I'm gonna start putting one foot in front of the other.
This video definitely made me want to do skating again. Great videos, keep up the good work, this message goes for everyone in the team. 👍😁

Mark Pepaj Thank you! 😊
Tiago Inline Skater you’re welcome😁
Hey Tiago, you actually got me into inline skating this year (as well as the anime air gear). Any tips for wheels to use and stuff, I actually started by going along the bay run and noticed that since the terrain is rougher and less smooth like asphalt my feet shook and vibrated a lot and also made me less stable. Also any tips for going down slopes? I ended up accidentally going down a steep hill leading straight into a sharp turn as I wasn't able to react fast enough and ended up injuring myself badly and bedridden for a few days after taking a dive into gravel. P.s. I finally got my first pair of inlines, they were the cheapest decent looking ones I saw tho, the No Fear brand.
THEEYE SEESALL ohhh, sorry for your injury! 😣
1. for bad terain, the tips I gave you in this video will defenitely help you for that! bend your knees ( getting lower) and puting your feet in line; you'll be a lot more stable and have more control over your feet :) but bigger wheels help to lower the vibrations too! like a 3 by 110mm setup with a hardness of 85A, it's great!
2. for going down slopes, What si usually do to control my speed is what I showed in this videos' last Tip! you can actually see me doing the turns to control the speed in a downhill! 😊✌🏼
@@TiagoInlineSkater awesome, thanks man, loving all your videos.
I recently started blading again with my old Rollerblades on (from 2011, 80mm wheels) and noticed most surfaces in my city (Melbourne, Australia) are either decades old rough bitumen which vibrates on blades, or narrow and bumpy bike paths that were annoying and could trip you up every few seconds. So I looked into getting bigger wheels.
Luckily my boots could take modern interchangeable frames (the metal part that holds the wheels) so I was able to buy a frame and wheels for a 3 x 125mm setup.
See pictures here: imgur.com/gallery/3S0tcVA
The improvement isn't as big as I thought it would be, but it is definitely better (slightly less vibration, go over bumps easier, more stable and faster with less effort). It kinda just feels the way you think blading should feel. I much prefer them overall so far. I got the new parts online from AliExpress but there's no guarantee they fit, so if you have a blade shop locally with affordable parts I'd recommend taking your blades in to see what they can do.
@@hubey yeah, I'm in Sydney myself m8 and I'm having exactly that issue. Sad tho because my frames are built into the boots, but you can easily change the wheels tho, also I dunno if it was a mistake that I removed the break at the back because I thought it was in the way
@@watyhu99 m888888888, I Shouldn't complain, Sydney is probably heaps more difficult with all the hectic hills. But perhaps more fun once you get good. Maybe around the old Olympic area might be a nice place to practice. I'm looking up quiet carparks here myself. Shame about your boots. Might be able to scoop something up second hand. Well if you still have the brake you can re-attach it. The brake saves you wearing your wheels down faster, but it slows you learning how to brake and scrub speed without it. As a beginner I like having it on there, especially for hills.
It is amazing video. GREETINGS FROM TURKEY 🇹🇷🥰
Furkan Fuat Küçükbayrak Thank you! 😆✌🏼
did you have a video on going down the stairs in front and back?
J P not...yet 😎
I learned skating by watching your video
aryan grg 😱! Glad we've been useful!
Whenever I learn a new move it is one I have seen someone else do first, slowly getting better.
Great tips 🙂👍
Simon Evans Thank you Simon! 😊✌🏼
I remeber like a year and a half ago I watched ur videos waiting for my seba frx to arrive and since then I been watching
I like the use of scisor position
this was VERY helpful. thankyou soooo much
Hey Tiago..
Loved your video involving Ambriose the Slalom skater. Am starting to learn how to skate properly and slalom at the same time. Really enjoyed the tutorial and will practice the way he showed me. I have downloaded the course by Asha Kirkby..
Très bonne vidéo et j'adore ton accent anglais ( car oui, peut de français savent parler anglais ) ;D
Skye Farjat merci! 😁
Nice! watching it again!
this guy just a hit a running man on skates 🔥🔥mad respect..im more a quadskates guy but recently developed interest for inlines..because quads dont give you enough thrill after a point..due to lack of speed..yall..i need you to help me..any tips will do
from my experience, full protection - knees and elbows begiiincluded is an absolute must for the beginners. Falls are inevitable. Wnen yoy are trying any new trick, you are bound to fall. I fell more than 20 times during my first season ( now i am in my second). I still wear my protection although i fell only twice this season, but had i not worn it, I would have certainly got injured.
I like the people in the background at 0:36 trying to figure out what’s going on!
so helpful! i’ve never done any sort of skating before in my life, as i’m from australia and it’s not that popular. but i’m 17 and am trying to get a pair next month because it looks sooo fun. how long have you been skating and how long did it take you to get good enough to skate in public confidently?
Hi! I'm happy you're motivated to start skating! for me it took me a few weeks in order to be confident enouth to skate in public, with the bare minimum of technique! and I kept training a little bit everyday ( specially at night when there was nobody to see me 😂) and managed to get more confident and improve!
@@TiagoInlineSkater omg that's my exact plan hahaha. if i ever go somewhere to practice and there's other teenagers i'll leave straightaway, too embarrassing lol, but if i practice at night i can fall over without worry. hopefully it only takes me a few weeks as well :)
Have fun! 😊✌🏼
Excellent tips ❤
L’impegno va premiato bravo 👍
Frame Try Grazie! 😊
This is helping me a lot, thanks❤️
Nice one 👍😊
Great attitude
May I ask, to achieve the stability and control of your skate, esp the balance when moving, where do you usually put the center of gravity when pushing. I mean is it from the heels, middle foot or at the front foot?. Thankyou
This is awesome. Your commentary is great too. What skates are you wearing in this video?
straightie180 thanks a lot! In this video I'm using the Powerslide Hardcore Evo Trinity :)
@@TiagoInlineSkater Thank you
I wish the whole video was Tiago pretending to be noob.
clray123 you just gave me an idea!
tiago vous étiez juste bercé je suis inspiré de vous voir la vidéo et commencer à faire du patinage en ligne
Super random but do you feel that the macroblade 90 is beginner friendly??? Gonna buy my first pair of skates and wanna make the right choice
sooo nice
this is perfect thanks
I'm pretty sure the best starting skate for a skater that's never been on skates before is the sl that's just my opinion it's cheap, it's not stiff, and it's sort of heavy which helps
I really wanted to get back into skating for quite some time know. But everywhere i look, i don't seem to be able to find a shop that sells freestyle skates in my size. I can't even find boots by themselfes. Everywhere they seem to cap at size 47(eu) at most, which is too small for me. I find exclusive skateboard/longboard and even ski shops just fine, basically everything except the thing im looking for. What i'd like to ask is, where did you buy your freestyle skates and where would i find size 48+(eu), in free skates, if that even exists?
Tami Mari Hi! I tried to look around for you; on the skate shop SkatePro, they sell some Rollerblade RB 110 in 48! ( skatepro.fr) if you don't want the 110 setup; you could change the frames :)
@@TiagoInlineSkater Thank you so much, its been a huge help!
There's a Facebook group called "Big foot blade trade"; it's a sales group but I'm quite sure it'll be full of nice people capable to help you with what and where to look for even new 😉
I'm not in that specific group cause my problem is more having tiny feet like Thiago (so good for freeskate but a little more tricky for aggressive boots), but if it's anything like its sibling sites of Blade Trade you'll be on good hands for sure 😃
How does your friend like the wizard 100's?
Nixizt he loves 'em! :)
Hi man, I have twister 80, back to skating in my 30s... I want more control, and terrain where I practice is bad concrete. I was thinking to put on them smaller wheels 72-76mm from Bauer skates. What do you think about that, is it doable and what would be the pros/cons of that set up (I am 182cm /80kgs)?
So Funny and so True !!
I know your skates are beautiful big don't look downwards when skating
Haha literally me when I started inline skating
Hey all, i am having a difficulty and wondering if somebody had the same issue or any suggestions. i got my inlines and started practising. i realised that i can not keep my inlines straight, they tend to both lean inside. this makes my ankles feel uncomfortable after some hours. in my day to day life, i need to wear insoles for my shoes, so i am wondering, can you use insoles for the inlines?
I have the same problem. Do you find a way to fix it?
Hey Tiago, I'm trying to get into freestlyle/urban inline skating, but I'm having a real hard time finding something that fits me, as I'm a size 13. I'm also starting to become a little bit more flexible on price just because I want to be able to get something that's not junk. I'd say I'm definitely in the intermediate level; do you have any thoughts on where I should look?
Isaiah Trotter size 13 US?
How many skate videos have been filmed in this exact spot in Paris. The pavement must be hella smooth. Lol.
I was at this place yesterday !
im abig fan of u...
Rakesh sethy Thank you 😊✌🏼
All late, but great tips!!!!!
Hey can I ask,how do I keep one foot on the front because I have troblem to do so
Is it normal to skate on the sides of the wheels and not straight up?
i love your video❤❤❤
Great looking video content. Think you did a bunch of your very own coding.

As a beginner can i use rockered setup for learning ?
Hi! In my honest opinion, yes you can! You won't be super stable at first, but you'll get there! Your body will get used to it! :) have fun!

With THAT kind of hair you dont need a helmet. Your hair will absorb all shocks.
