For me, this is one of the deepest most emotionally moving songs I've EVER heard. First heard this in about '63 when I was 8 years old. Still to this day I'm affected by it.
She still looks great & sounds wonderful after all these years , i was too young to appreciate her talent when she sung a few songs for my brothers while her family stayed at our house in Edinburgh to perform at a concert back in the early 1970's !.
This woman is astonishing. When I first head her music I thought this is why The Doors got inspired, song such as 'I got stung' & 'winters going' coooolest songs ever!
HER VOICE IS "STILL WONDERFUL? " i'M A CANADIAN, and, sorry to say, I had not heard of BONNIE DOBSON, until today! (Although my room-mate at University was "Keith Dobson!" I should have bloody known! All of CANADA should have Bloody known! "Voice still Good?"Her voice is bloody marvellous! It is a tribute that ROBERT PLANT got ahold of this, and rocked it to the top! TO SEE HOW UNDERSTATED and MODESTLY GENUINE this Lady is, and how unknown she is in her own Country, is a travesty! although Joni Mitchell achieved serious recognition, one wonders, "Why not BONNIE DOBSON? AND THEN, realize that a LOBOTOMIZED PRAIRIE PENIS-ROCK BAND (NICKLEBACK!!) came out of the ALBERTA BADLANDS and rocketed to TOP CHARTING & SELLING NORTH-AMERICAN ROCK BAND for a DECADE! GOOD LORD! AMERICAN "TRUMP CULTURE" IS GOING TO BE THE DEATH OF US ALL!
My name is Marty. I’m a 70-year old attorney and I live in Louisville Kentucky. As I type this note I’m listening to “Truth” by Jeff Beck with Rod Stewart: “Truth.” The album includes “Morning Dew.”
Morning Dew by Tim Rose in the 60's blew my mind ,still does.I had no idea Bonnie wrote it ,her first song I believe ,I hope her message never comes true ,right now in 2022 its pretty close...with the likes of Putin on the planet...
So you stood up your date that night? You couldn`t have cared too much about him if somebody else just said " No. there`s someone I really want you to meet!" and you just canceled out on him. Unless I`m misunderstanding what you meant by a date.
Blessed to have seen Bonnie at the 1981 Philadelphia Folk Festival
Her voice is still as beautiful as she is as a person.

Imagine writing something that good as your first song !

Today I recent discover Bonnie, and His voice is like a brush over a canvas.
I still have my LP with Morning Dew.

I loved learning Los Angeles is where she wrote Morning Dew. I love that place.

A very much underrated singer. Her voice is almost equal to Joan Baez's.
What a lovely voice! Hard to tie-down the accent though - I first thought Irish. Lovely!
Canadian............thus, CANADA; matur'd in regional UK....and....
Bonnie is Canadian but moved to England a long time ago in the late 1960's and still lives there.

really?
She knew she was going to meet someone who wanted to talk about her music and perhaps producing her. Her date could wait for another night.
