Trying out this life hack for Lowrider Tire White Walls! Am I the only one dealing with bad white walls please tell me I'm not alone. I always thought Remington tires were the best tires just do to the fact they last longer and are way better tires when it comes to lowriding.
I was born and raised lowriding since the 80's I watched my pops and uncles use a gravel rock and dish soap and water sometimes we just use the rock and water with a clean rag.
That’s how I do it.

I’ve used the LA totally awesome cleaner from the dollar store…a pumice stone also worked before. I’ve heard that silicone based tire shines cause the brown out and the compound they use for the tire molds….I’ve used Lucas tire shine it’s water based and haven’t had a brown tire since using it

You can’t stop the brown. It’s the petroleum coming thru it from the back. They didn’t put a barrier between the tire and white wall
Go to your local dealership go to the detailed department of buy a bottle of wheel acid will clean the spokes like MF 💯 after they dry spray wax them
You really should take a step back and look up Dura-coating. They make some tire sealer that will change YOUR LIFE. Ff you do prep right you can get 2 years easily out of the sealing and all you have to do is spray, wipe and dry.. done. Pluss your tires will always look perfect, new and shinny.

I read or saw somewhere that different tire companies use different formulas in the rubber and the brown leaches out in the heat on some tires but eventually goes away.
I use Tornels on my daily and I haven’t had any browning since I got them 2-3 months ago. I just use bleach white every week or two when I wash my ride and keep a scuff pad for emergency but haven’t even used it.

From my understanding with the tire shine products, they only make the white walls brown/dirty if the tires are dirty when you apply the shine. This detailer recommended scrubbing the tires clean and then applying the shine with a clean rag to prevent browning. The clean rag is so you can see if any dirt is transferred. Obviously if there’s dirt getting on the clean rag the tires need more cleaning.

Use vinegar and dawn dish soap mixed with water works

That was a great life hack there! On cleaning spokes I use paint gun brush to clean the spokes, if go through my 1-6 part video on how to clean rusty rims I show those brushes.
Chimney brush from home depot
If the wheels are chrome, just use wheel acid. Spray on, let sit for a minute and hose it off. Nice and clean and no effort.
Ajax and a toothbrush works to clean white walls
I use a brush to clean in between the spokes & a foot stone to take the brown off the tire big dawg but it looks faster with the sanding wheel instead of scrubbing it👍😎

Browning will always come back out,..it's the compound ingredients in the rubber. I'm surprised no one talkes about this,... WHITE LEATHER PAINT,.. LASTS MORE THAN 6 MONTHS.
Brake dust and armor all are the enemies for white walls. Unfortunately you need to clean them as often as possible. Next time use the awesome spray from the 99¢ stores.
I’ve always used Westley’s white wall bleach and a stiff 2 inch square wire brush once a week and mine look new at all times. You spray down the sidewalls, wait 2-3 min, brush the wall firmly all the way around, rinse. If the white wall is really bad you might have to do it twice, but if you do that consistently after buying them and getting them mounted they stay looking new and bright white. 💯
Make sure to scrub and rinse out of the sun and rinse them well before they start drying. 💯

Shout Advanced in aerosol can. I use on my Vouges. Spray on let sit for a couple minutes. Use a pressure washer to power wash away. That way you're not grinding away your tires

I run Tornels with bleach white and scuff pad from the dollar store 3pk haven't had one turn brown on me!!!
I run Tornels also on my daily, never had one turn brown. All I do is use bleach white every week to 2 weeks when I wash my ride. Haven’t even needed to use a scuff pad but have one for emergencies.
Yes they come in handy and think it's the tire manufacturer cause all my Tornels stayed white and if dirt,grease,etc I use them light scrub and good to go
I was told by the guy who built my wheels that Tornels don’t turn brown.
I read or watched something that explained that tire manufacturers use different formulas for their rubber and that the brown leaches to the surface on some tire companies rubber formula when in the sun but eventually goes away. This makes sense to me because I haven’t had any issues with Tornels in the months I owned them driving daily.

The reason the whitewalls are turning brown is because of the oils in the rubber. ... Take that totally awesome degreaser and spray it on them... Watch that brown shit just poor out of them.... The only thing that iv found that truly works is multiple cleanings using totally awesome degreaser, dish soap and an sos on the tires... Just keep your shit clean and over time that grease will pull out... Never clean chrome with an sos... Did and steel wool are 2 different products and steel is harder then chrome so you will scratch it.... If you use steel wool to polish chrome only use 0000... Fine fina steel wool.... Look on your packages.

Whats up Jerry97 i would never use armor all on my white walls just on the outer black wall of course best thing to use was a tire sponge applicator .. and like san diego real one , using a rock would do the trick
I use a paint brush to get those spokes cleaned all the way through.
You can also make your white walls the old-school 2 inch gangsta white walls the same way and Mr. clean eraser will also keep them clean

Hello, great video's , there ain't nothing you can do to stop that black oils blead into that whitewalls, only certain brands of tires do it I've been dealing with that problem for 40 years, 4 , 5 days it will turn brown again ! at least you have that grinder !! I use a foot stone ,

Man these white walls on Remington tires these days are not good you get them to turn white then go for a cruise and it turns brown again in couple days I use pumice stick it cleans them really good but like I said it will turn brown again

I read that the browning comes from oils within the tire when it was produced, and the reason it constantly turns brown is because the oils slowly seep out throughout the life of the tire. Don’t know how true that is though

The reason the tire blooms [turns brown] like that is from using cleaners that are too aggressive/cheap. You need to use a higher quality tire cleaner which doesn’t promote tire blooming. Mothers Back to Black Tire Renew is a tire cleaner that works and won’t turn brown.
McKee’s 37 Rubber & Tire Rejuvenator is another 1.

@@stevetrump7399 But do you Really want to know the Best way to clean your whitewalls? Use Advanced Shout Grease Busting FOAM + power washer.
I kid you not, using Shout foam and letting it dwell for 3-5min. then spraying it with a power washer gets whitewall tires cleaner than you’ve ever seen I promise you. I’m a professional detailer and using Shout has been a secret for whitewalls for years now. If you don’t have a power washer use a soft nylon brush to scrub after 5min.
But using a power washer will blow your mind and leave them looking perfectly clean without scrubbing.

Hey Jerry try a water based tire dressing like 3D Ultra Thick Protectant. Wash the tire when you wash the car, have a short bristle tire cleaning brush to scrub lightly when it’s soaped up, rinse off, apply the dressing to the tire with a second brush or applicator pad. This product dries fast, dry to the touch so no sling on your Town Car, and can be used on ALL the rubber trim around the car and inside too like weather stripping. It’ll make it black and clean. If the white walls brown after that again, just needs to be hit with an SOS pad. 3D Detailing Products also make a wire wheel cleaner spray, highly recommend them and I’ve used all their products with nothing but satisfaction & ease. Much love and respect.

@@jerry97living I agree I like mine shaved I like my white walls wide/thick/buffed whatever you want to call t but every time I get them done I use sos pads every wash after that and they stay bright white. So makes sense to shave down with the pad and machine your using then hit them with sos every wash after and be it good 👍🏽
