Wow. I did not expect this video from a holster company. Outstanding work. Best weapons like comparison I've seen. Olight should really talk to you while they're in product development and make your job easier and think of the end user for better holster compatibility between the lights.

I run the Streamlight on my FNX45 in my duty holster and then I run the PL Pro on my home defense gun. The only reason I have the PL Pro is because I won it in an Olight contest, no way I’d pay for one. I still don’t get the hype with lasers though, I never used one even for night ops in the military. You said that the holster will be unique for Boldr Pro R, but on yout website for SKU M6GL940AOLBALPRR it is mentioned 3 lights in title "with Olight Valkyrie Turbo + Baldr Pro R + PL-Pro".
In this video, I said you need holsters specifically for the Baldr Pro R. That is true. We designed those holsters, including room for the bezel that is larger than the lights that came before, and the Valkyrie Turbo & PL-Pro both happen to fit in this design.. So we added them as compatible. Hope that helps clear up any confusion.
Watching some of your videos I must say that streamlight tlr 1hl seems to be one of the best choices for a fullsize pistol like the G17. I am a little concerned about the accidental display of light that is very common to hear about. Other concern is the amount of brightness in a closed environment, also pretty much commented by some users. Are those two "negative" points suficcient to avoid the tlr 1 hl? Thank you again for all the great videos.
Nico, I'll share my experience. For light negligent discharge, that has never been an issue for myself or those here at the shop. I would have a hard time accidentally turning it on. And even if I overrun turning off "constant on", it will immediately turn off because the overrun area is momentary. Regarding the amount of output, I have a hard time understanding the scenario. If I'm activating a light, then I'm not relying on my own night-adapted vision. If I accidentally blind myself by pointing a light into a mirror and turning it on, then I want as much light as possible when searching so that I overcome my pupils constricting. If I think the weapon light has too much output on white walls, I use umbrella or baseboard lighting. And in -all- situations with a potential assailant, I want as much blinding power in my hands as possible. That's my two cents.
I know it does not fall in the scope of holsters and pistols, but have you considered doing rifle lights in the same fashion? You do an extremely thorough job testing lights and would love this kind of information with those as well.
