I purchased one of these lights it's a great light worked okay for a while then I start having problems with it it would turn on by itself and run the battery out and what it would turn on you couldn't turn it off that I noticed were you attached the magnetic charging cord on the bottom if you would touch it the light would come on and touch it again it would go out what I found was some very small metal filings stuck on the magnetic base and contact that caused this problem I cleaned it off with some cotton it blew it off with some compressed air in a can that took care of the problem that I was having with it good thing it has a 5-year warranty
Did you have any problems sending it in for replacement? They've been very responsive to me but I can never be sure if it's because I'm on RUclips? Hope you subscribe.
I know, right? That's the biggest thing the flashlights brag about. But most reviewers don't know how to test lumens so I guess they don't bother doing that in their vids?
Nice review! I read that some light bearing holsters that fit the x300 will be compatible with the baldr pro r. Were you able to find a holster? Althiugh slightly shorter, how's the width compared to the x300? Thanks
You think this would look good on the FN 5.7? I wanna add some weight but I kinda don’t want it to stick out to far, Ik my barrels a lil longer than a Glock
That's kind of personal taste. I never liked that my old Valkyrie and now this Baldr sticks out past the muzzle of my Glock 17. Not just because of aesthetics andbutalso because it's a pain in the butt to clean the lens after a range visit.
Hey bro I ended up buying all 3 colors 1 black for my fde glock 45 1 grey for my 509t grey 1 fde for my full fde fn 5.7 still haven't received them but wondering if you already have and did it look good one ur 5.7
Actually, what is the use of that little adjuster screw (M3x4) that include in the package? Is that for replacement adjustment screw or just retainer for the laser adjustment screw? If it's replacement screw, does it means that adjuster screw can be taken off?
True. Though with a 1000 cycles, by the time a Lipo battery needs to be replaced they'll probably be introducing a 5M lumen light or some other new gimmick.
I used to think that too. But they're rated to 1000 charging cycles before losing 20% capacity. By the time the battery loses 50% capacity, they'll be some newer high Lumen model I"ll want to replace it anyway.
@@01MeuCanal Like a laptop, it's possible to unscrew the housing to get inside. I suspect the battery has soldered contacts but I haven't the knowledge or desire to open it up myself.
Mediocre light, 800 peak lumens, not 1350. The components for zeroing the laser are sooo loose you lose your zero when you remove the Allen wrench. Don’t waste your money

Thanks for the review funny how the other reviewers didn't mention that luman output. Marketing is very deceptive

Good review and video thanks.
Much appreciated
You did an excellent job. Please do a video on the Baldr S 800 and Baldr Mini, Thank you.
Great suggestion!
Hey man you running exactly same setup as me! G17 gen 3 with hogue grip and extended slide stop. Would you recommend this light to me?
Yeah, I still have this on my bedside setup, so yeah I recommend 100%. Hope you subscribed.
@@Moondog2A I did, great review btw. Keep it up man
Would you do a review on the Valkyrie Turbo LEP light?
Running the same myself!! Only difference I’m running apex trigger and 3.5 connector 😎👍
Thank you!
You're welcome!

It fits in my Safariland 6390. If you run the retainer strap, it's a bit tight because the slide rides a little higher.
The Safariland 6360 ALS/SLS(Surefire x300U) works with it fluidly! No issues
Great video my friend. I have a question : Does the Olight Baldr Pro R fits ok on the Staccato XC ?
It should. But I don't have an XC to check for you.

Informative video. Good job. I have Hatsan BTS12. What tactical flashlight would you recommend?

Have you had any issues with the laser not holding zero?
No, knock on wood. But I've only owned one for less than a month so far.
@@Moondog2A thanks for the feedback !
Good Video. Would this fit the sub2k
Yes. I'd consider running this on my Sub2K after I finish testing on my Glock.

Custom holster companies have been getting cheaper?

I would like to know more about impact resistance. I saw a video where baldr mini laser broke after 12 feet drop test.
Dropped from 4m to concrete?

If it's replacement screw, does it means that adjuster screw can be taken off?
The only screws I got were to replace the Glock recoil block with a 1913 block? Is that the one you were mentioning?
@@Moondog2A no, I mean the smaller screws than the glock/1913 block screws. It's included in the package also
@@joesaja Maybe you're right, they are replacement laser adjustment screws?
My zero hold on my ohlight balard. Just got this light this morning.
Let us know how well it holds zero over time. Hope you subscribe.
Will the baldr pro R fit on a Glock 21.?
Yes. The accessory rail is the same width and length as my G17.
How do I put mine back in lock out mode?

You get +1350 lumens for like 30 seconds, then it's 800. So yeah.
