Keep up the content man! I always look forward to seeing your videos. Give me lots of inspiration to my mk6 build. Plus it (hopefully it doesn't) might come in handy as I start adding more and more power as you have.
The belt inside the engine can happen. It’s extremely likely to happen on N54 and N55 bmws when they shred a belt. I have one, and just bought a MK6 as a daily. Excited to start modding it.
Burnt valve and spark plug could be injector issue. Cylinder has ran into lean condition and than spark plug and exhaust valve was melted. Same happened to me. I just replaced old injectors with set of new and rebuilt the head.
Yo glad to see you back new intake looks like a monster if you’re giving the old one away be glad to take it off your hands would be awesome to rep something of yours just hmu on insta or something ur car is still goals for mine
Just got my mark6 Gti, this is a amazing version of a gti’s true potential. I love your car man!! Especially when your mom drove it lol let us know how raw it really is.. sick car again and again, would you recommend intake as first mod?
Hey man, I assume this car is gone, and you're on to the audi, but I'm currently going through alot of what you have done. Wonder what ever happened or came of it. I would really appreciate ANY feedback, especially concerning anything you'd have done differently or parts you'd rather have went with, unexpected failures, etc.
Can you tell me what is your wheel set up? i know its the konig hypergram but wanna know the size and offset, and what size of tire are you running. Thx bro
As a BMW tech iv'e seen it happen many times, its really common when the belt goes, it will suck it into the front main seal. You have to replace the seal/belt, and pull the pan to get all of the belt.
It looks like your front quarter panel paint is different then the rest of your car. Is that in fact so or does the camera just make it appear like that?
Danny Hampton yes I will wait for them I’m in no rush I’m about to install my hybrid turbo and I’ll install the bicooler when I do my wrap and golf r bumper I just got all the parts in and then I’ll hit the dyno so I got about 2-4 weeks till I’ll be ready to tune and need a front mount
@@benjb8377 did you upgrade those at the same time as everything else? I'm currently running a little over budget on the build, and trying to determine which parts to prioritize. I've read that upgrading an intercooler w/o the radiator, makes for hotter coolant temps, so I'm also trying to determine if those mods need to be done together, or can be done as I find more affordable 2nd hand options
@@nickc7318 thats cap i did intercooler and then radiator when i built the block. Intercooler more important for fbo, the radiator is more for when the engine running hotter because of the high boost bigger turbo or whatever else you throw at it
I have a 2012 gti with over 150k and I’m thinking if getting a new engine installed would be worth it or a rebuilt one. I’m always on top services and it runs great but idk how much life it has... what do you guys suggest
Check compression twice a year, if she's running good and you do oil changes every 5k with no metal then send it! I've seen these motors go over 200k if properly maintained.
Man I need a nice car like that. Super jelly bro. I'm not really good with cars though so I'll probably just buy something stock with a lot of hp. good shit though. Wait wait wait, did it really only cost you like 5 grand all in to make you car that much hp? What the hell
Lol no. That 5 grand was to just fix the issue that happened. He easily has close to 8-10k before hand in parts & labor to be sitting where he's at pre issue. To push 400-500wheel in a GTI (Or R) before the MKVII. You're looking at an easy 10k. Can be even more dpeending on how much extra you want to add. Can make that 6-7k if you do all the work yourself instead of having shops help build. Which ever route you take, depends on how comfortable you are with building a car. Now a MKVII on the other hand. Takes a lot less $ to make the same power. That's just because the Gen 3 TSI is a lot more mod friendly and VW/Audi actually got their shit together with the release of the MQB chassis. You can of course mod these cars for a lot cheaper. But the car on this channel is a Big Turbo build with port injected meth and more. Not cheap. But a lot of fun.
@@dannyhampton This sort of damage can occur at stock power levels. Cracked chain guide is common, timing chain tensioner failure, stretched timing chain, severe oil consumption due to poorly designed piston rings....I could go on. My GTI MK6 had timing chain stretch and bent valves at 50,000klms. New head replaced. 1ltr per 1000Klm oil consumption, needed new pistons, rod and rings. I sold the heap of shit at 90,000klms with DSG clutch issues, broken windows and serious oil consumption. By far the worst car I have ever owned.

Do you have to replace everything? Or will that tiny peice from the spark plug cause engine knock?

What plugs were you running? I want to know so I can avoid them.
Which brand intake?
How’s the R side skirts fit how’s the fitment? Can you please do a review on them?
They are perfect. I got them off ebay with no problems
Who sends u ur tunes and how do u load them if i may ask?
Mabotech does my tuning. They are loaded using my laptop and eurodyne cable.

Hmmmmmmm giveaway for the intake????
Did you do anything about the subframe or something to composete for the wheelspin
No I didn't. Moved to awd. Check newer vids

That is a carbon fiber fender
I see that makes sense, sorry I was watching a video on my iphone, small screen.
Love it bro!
Are my eyes cheating me or u filled the coolant until the G12 sign?
You are correct. Wrong coolant too. Its fixed now. My mechanic doesn't know all the vw things
Do you have anything you could sell i have an mk6 gti i would like to upgrade
Yes check out hamptontuning.net
