These OM611engines will run forever, a few things to note. The gearbox usually has the module that fails causing all sorts of harsh gear slamming, changing and throws into limp mode. It's a very simple repair. Other things I've experienced is EGR and CATS blocking up.

I once had a W203 Estate Class C 200 Kompressor with 1,998 cc engine. Imported from Italy to Finland. It was the last and the very best car I ever had.
But this doesn't mean citroen is bad. Perhaps there were problems before parking. Or drove through a deep puddle and left it right after - the water did not have time to dry in the starter

These w203s can kill a front SAM when on not sufficient voltage on water penetration due to condensation in colder climates. That is a cheap part but make sure to get it from a car that has your equipment or more. After that it will get out of all electrical issues. Probably will fix the transmission limp mode. Also in the trans check if there is enough oil. It probably leaks from the connector. That is a 10eur peace feom the dealer. 722.6s are known to lose oil on there

That was my first car, dark blue, took care of that car more than myself, the mechanic also was impresed, the engine was pure, clean, very good on snow, very fun car. But had only one problem, rust, because of the water based paint, here in europe, because of salt, the car had that problem every year.

I have same engine mercedes w203 touring but manual 2.2cdi 2005 and it starts very well and drives good but turbo makes same whistle and turbo flutters too and everything was oily around turbo i cleaned it and tightned the turbo hose but still its whistling

2.2 cdi engine one of the lucky ones. Very simple and reliable.
And it's the Elegance trim, but it's not looking elegant at all. The wheels are worse than the blacked out tail lights.

with only 1 year my citroen c5 already in need of an new starter and this car start with no problem with sitting here for 3 year
But this doesn't mean citroen is bad. Perhaps there were problems before parking. Or drove through a deep puddle and left it right after - the water did not have time to dry in the starter

I think diesel is tinted different colors depending on where you are from. In the US for example, taxed road diesel is green while farm diesel is red.

On some vehicles some relays trip/fail and that's what can cause limp mode.
Where do you find them? And how do you get them for yourself???
