That means Andrew was aware of being bolotomised but he wanted to give himself a chance to accept the reality and to find if he can live peacefully after that.. And he succeeded in this but finally he decided to go with bolotomisation which proves that he already knew about doctors and all the incidents going around him... But he couldn't controll on imaginations.. That was his weakness.... Which made this too difficult to decode further. One thing i can say that he was not just a patient but also he had been helping himself along with doctors to get out of his regret..... Actually he never had been fooled by doctors.... He done that knowingly... And he won.... That's my analysis mam..

Because she was taught to do acting. - one mad lady writes "RUN" on Leonardo's notebook. She was helping him that is why she wanted him to leave that island. -Richell (in the cave) already told Leonardo that nobody is his friend and all are doing acting.
Yesterday my brother suggested me to watch this movie.. Actually he wants to make my brain work fast 😂 I watched it today for second time and played your review to check my conclusions either these are right or wrong.. Yup these are correct.. I also agreed with you at final conclusion.. Experiment was successful but he didn't want to live with that harsh reality anymore that's why he showed to Shaheen that he is not normal but while leaving his last dialough he gave the clue to Shaheen that he is normal..
I got the story in first go .. itself and it became my one of the fav suspense thriller movie which I always recommend to other who also like this genre.....and yes ..he was stable at the end ,he got the reality ...but he was confused which path to choose ...to remember what had happened to his family and live his whole life with sorrow and regret or to do the test and forget the past .

Commonly movie ends to give something to the audience to think about. I observed one thing that Marshal can save those people who were killed brutally by the gun shots. That scene was too horrible and truamatic than the killing of three kids. Andrew felt more about them as they were his kids but what about those people who were killed like..... He was remembering those people too ice buried and cold weather behind the thorny mettle wires looking with hope at the soldiers to save them. His own daughter's dialogue symbolize "you could save us". A soldier has both the powers (save or shoot). What he had been doing occured in his life that made him a victim. "You will reap what you have sowed"

I got the story in first go .. itself and it became my one of the fav suspense thriller movie which I always recommend to other who also like this genre.....and yes ..he was stable at the end ,he got the reality ...but he was confused which path to choose ...to remember what had happened to his family and live his whole life with sorrow and regret or to do the test and forget the past .

Commonly movie ends to give something to the audience to think about. I observed one thing that Marshal can save those people who were killed brutally by the gun shots. That scene was too horrible and truamatic than the killing of three kids. Andrew felt more about them as they were his kids but what about those people who were killed like..... He was remembering those people too ice buried and cold weather behind the thorny mettle wires looking with hope at the soldiers to save them. His own daughter's dialogue symbolize "you could save us". A soldier has both the powers (save or shoot). What he had been doing occured in his life that made him a victim. "You will reap what you have sowed"

I also had the same thought about the ending of the movie. He just didn't want to live with the crimes he had done. Experiment was successful but andrew refused to stay as andrew. He rather wanted to be a better person instead of living his whole life by the ne of andrew (who killed his own wife)
