Dude, I got you beat. I have all that you have, plus more clamps, AND the Adaptive Cutting System with extra track and all the accessories. Love it all. Great stuff. Worth the money,
Thanks for all of your videos. We all benefit from your experience. I have used the Kreg K4 and K5 for years. Kreg used me and my shop in one of their infomercials, and I am a real fan of their products. I can not endorse their deck installation pocket hole jig. The holding ability is not great, and is often compromised. It also is not conducive for production use. The remainder of their products are well worth the cost, and I have built many projects that would have been much more difficult without them. Thanks for the review.
Good video...I used the older Kreg for years in my cabinet shop. I use it for my face frames. Just got the Kreg Foreman and its ok. It saves some time and was well worth the cost
I don't have any of these things. Maybe that's why all my projects look like they were built by Homer Simpson and Barney after a night of drinking at Moes Tavern.
LOL. I just bought more. Bought a third track that I can leave on the table. That way I have two I keep together to break down plywood, and one permanently on the table. Also bought a set of parallel guides. I think I have the complete system now. Also just bought a Metabo table saw for those times when the Kreg system is inconvenient.
Awesome glad you like the kreg jig i first bought an the one that has the levef on front box says kreg 3 bought on line. Then about 3 years ago i bought the kreg foreman machine due to health issues have used foreman or othér kreg or other tools or other shop equipment Hoping soon to be able to make sawdust again Jim, Ontario, Canada
The tables you have are nice. Before I got into the Kreg stuff, I purchased two the the Works table that I think are a little better. All plastic and allumium and no rust. They are designed all most the same.
I bought all of that stuff too, over a year and a half. I have two project centers, the RipCut, and drum roll please, The ACS3000 Adaptive Cutting System with some extras. Must come to $3000, but I got a lot of it with signing bonuses and cash rewards from credit cards.
I have most of the pieces you are showing here. Quality is very good but as you said the plastic could have been cleaned a little. With Won Hung Lo making it for you in China, you get what you pay for. I use my pocket jig quite a bit and for the price, It does a very good job.
The K3 and maybe the K4 has a attachment so you can slide out the drilling head and use it on flat board.. So no need to buy the R3 kit since you can already do the same job and save some money. You put the gauge stop together wrong. You threaded the bolt next to the nut side when it's suppose to go on other side. Push it through jig and screw it into the nut.The k3 has built in gauge to set drill bit so no part to lose.
Like Kreg! ... could you use the toggle clamps provided with the tables to hold the jig rather than going to the trouble of mounting and unmounting it.
Chris Kurtz I’m sure that you could figure out a way to make that work I think if you had the longer reach clamp it would work pretty well but overall I have decided that buying the right bolts and actually using the mounting holes is the way to go
I love it when guys go hog wild on purchasing tools and woodworking equipment. Without them the garage sale resellers would be driven by the Tupperware industry ; )
Good grief. My daughter and I built a mud room bench with cubbies using a 5 1/2 inch Ryobi circular saw (that’s 10+ yrs old), a jig saw to cut an opening around an outlet, a Ryobi cordless brad nailer and a drill in less than a day. We also used a Kreg K4 pocket hole jig to built the cubbies and the trim around the wainscoting behind the bench. We had no problem setting up and using the K4 jig (we had never used it before) clamped to an old Husky work bench. Another RUclips video showed us how to easily mark and drill perfectly placed holes. It’s not rocket science!!
I love how this guy nit picks all the tools. Like it needs this it does not have that etc.. But he doesn't know the basic terminology like stop block which was plastic stop thing, and bench dogs which were plastic pegs. Really you should learn the basics before trashing tools that everyone I talked to loves. The average comment on Kreg tools is "I don't know how I ever lived without this!" I am talking average home DIYS to established pros. Just to quell any questions I have been woodworking for over 50 years. I started as a young boy with my Grandfather who was a professional cabinet maker, who also built his own boats. So, yes I have breathed some sawdust in my time.
@Millennium Man I was sort of joking but at the same time sort of serious. I clean all my tools after every job. Will vacuum them and wipe them as needed. Wear and tear is a different thing due to usage.
The first kreg jig was metal and far superior to this new age plastic shit , think kreg have slipped with everything now plastic , like everything nowadays - meant to sell and then sell again due to shitiness
99 percent of there stuff is rubbish except for the circular saw guide which is brilliant but not made well you can improve it but you shouldn't have to

makes my life so easy. Kreg is the best!

Love Kreg jig stuff. Been using the Jr. for years and just recently got the K5. Really want the tables, but have to wait.

Easy to go wild with their products, one table convinced me to get the 2nd.

Good to see people putting their stimulus ( gift ) money into good use
Look at the date published!
Question you made this 2 years back do you still use it today ?
Looking forward to watching your cabinet build. Hopefully you will do a series on it and hopefully a how to
Havent you tried the corner clamp? I'm planning to get those
I throw my 2 timber pieces in the air. Wherever they land and overlap I GLUE!
Anyone who actually Knows how to use these love them.
Cool! I can't wait to see the videos on the cabinets.

Nicely done.

Btw I noticed kregs prices on their website are pretty competitive with Amazon. If you buy directly from them it helps the company a lot more
amazon is leech.
I also have the K5, Finish reading the instructions and you will see that the 4 holes on each side of the jig are for anchoring the jig
you know, if ya swap out the blade on the lawnmower and add a sanding drum, fkn awesome for long boards.
I just tried that. It didn't work too good for sanding but I now have some awesome kindling for my wood stove.
Great review, very helpful👍

Wonderful those tool cost a lot of money
Would the stop blocks do to stabilize the gig on the table ??
You dont need the guage just set wood in the jig and drill pocket hokes and use good judgement i am a fan of kreg jig as a contractor cabinet maker
Like Kreg!

where did you get the vacuum adapter ?
I got it at Home Depot in the shop vac section.
its 32mm or 1 1/2"
My wife loves KREG :-)

I don’t see the link for the drills in the description
Sorry about that i just update it.
Daniel Woodell thanks man. I love your videos. Keep it up, the garage is looking great!
Good grief.

oh, you noticed too?
could you recommend if this type of pocket hole is appropriate for 2x4s?
Or are the screws too weak?
CHRISTMAS!!!
all out KREG
Brand new set of DeWalt drills, brand new everything. Someone wants to be a maker when they grow up it looks like. Get em dirty
Doug Butler I keep mine clean
@Millennium Man
I served in the military were clean was everything and when ever I see dirty things I just assume the person using them is sloppy.

Enjoyed the video but you can just clamp that K5 jig right to the top and avoid mounting it.
I was thinking the same thing.
Like the product, customer service sucks really bad.
You should return most of that stuff and buy the foreman.
the gape between WORST and WORTH is Thin
I’m not sure what that means.
Must be nice to have that kind of money......
Expensive plastics
The first kreg jig was metal and far superior to this new age plastic shit , think kreg have slipped with everything now plastic , like everything nowadays - meant to sell and then sell again due to shitiness
Chinese version are way better made of cast aluminum or cnc machined aluminum block...what happen to america hehehe seems they became like china.
Awesome channel. Reminds me of tool time. Just subbed. Saw you on Mitten Dad live feed. Check us out, we are trying to grow our channel.
