- Hello Everyone and welcome to Creative Grandma's Kitchen .
Today I will show you how to make Sausage and Sweet Potatoes a super simple one pan meal you can cook in the oven or in a crock pot. Sausage mixed with sweet potatoes and white potatoes and onions is a quick and easy meal to prepare and so delicious. Add some home-made biscuits for a perfect fill you up meal.
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until done.
Delicious food does not have to be complicated. Some times simple is best.

I love sweet potatoes fixed any way,my Mother was a very simple cook (as am I) but she was a wonderful cook, cooking for a family of 10. This looks delicious Glenda.
That is how my family ate meals when I was growing up...My Dad didn't like spices...Just some salt and pepper in the food..But it was always meat and potatoes...I was the one that started to use some spices in the food when I was the cook when my Mother died of heart problems back in 1984.....My Dad got use to the spices and he did like the food that I cooked... What you are cooking looks good Glenda...

Bell peppers will add such a yummy flavor. I use wo or sometimes more. Love the green peppers. I would use Polish sausage. I was waiting for you to let us know when you got this set up. Love your crochet lessons.

Looks delicious. I'm not a sweet potato fan but I'm betting that you could substitute chucked carrots instead.
Thanks, Glenda! Gonna try it! Just an idea - when you have trouble getting the knife through something like a large sweet potato, hold the knife on top of the potato, ready to cut it, then hit the top of the blade with a meat mallet. That’s what I do!
Maybe if you stick your sweet potatoes in the microwave a little bit, might make it easier to cut.
