I’m a Georgia fan and I was telling folks all off season that Alabama will absolutely have to take the National championship away from us this year. Hands down we are the best team and it’s a big gap back to 2nd. Go Dawgs 🔴⚫️🔴⚫️
I'm an Alabama fan and I never think Alabama is a shoe-in to win any championship. I feel that we're always in the hunt though and that's as much as any team can say. The season just began and there's a lot that can happen between now and January. I just hope my boys are there.
@@too2great8 Finally, an Alabama fan with some sense. I know a lot of bama fans that are so arrogant that they actually believe that the committee should just hand them the NC trophy every year just because they are bama. Much respect fam! 👍 - UGA fan
We are great, but I’ve watched Georgia football long enough to not get my hopes to high early in the season. We need to get our run game in a better position. Besides that, we look pretty damn good! We’ll see what Tennessee brings
USC Class of 87. I had to wait a week before I could stomach this video. That was one of worst beat downs that I have witnessed. They took "run it up boys leave no doubt" to a new level. Still, enduring the tough times will just make the victories that much sweeter. Go Gamecocks!
I consider that comparison a major compliment given how successful Alabama has been. Georgia receives a ton of respect these days because the program has been so successful. Some fans complain about anything but I like what you said. Go Dawgs!
SC is on the up and up. Outsiders might not be able to see it. Beamer has been recruiting his tail off. This is his first true recruiting class. Can’t wait to see what he will do with a full four year cycle!
I watched the Georgia and South Carolina game and even before the game started Coach Beamer stated he was missing 5 defensive players. As a Bama fan I am not disputing Georgia right now is the number 1 team in the nation but what bothers me is the sports media has made a big deal of Georgia winning over a cupcake and weak SEC opponent. Just to show you I am not bias Alabama won against a cupcake last week 63-7 and they have some issues in various areas that they need to work on before I believe they will be a contender in the playoffs. Bama is still moving players to get the best on field performance from its players. Bama has two WRs with 4.2-4.3 speed that have not played this season but is expected to return to the field soon. I am hoping their return create the explosive offense that is currently missing.
Ok … well UGA starters have yet to even see the field in a 4th quarter this season.. offense and defense.. the only reason SC scored the only touchdown given up by UGA this season is because it was against the 3rd and 4th string defense with less than a min left in the 4th quarter.. even with that garbage time TD .. UGA 130 to 10 everyone else.. and it could be much worse than that if the starters played the whole time.. UGA is on another level right now and is better than they were last year .. if UGA and Bama played tomorrow.. UGA wins by at least 24 points..
@@gadawg775 Sounds a lot like tua and alabama during the 2018 season. They were never tested and got their ass kicked by a less-talented, hungrier Clemson team.

This Dawg fan ain’t drinking the Kool-Aid. Saban like his team to overcome adversity, by winning a game where Bama has to make a comeback to win. Hope the Dawgs are not full of themselves come the SEC championship game.
Of course the guy did not know if the players quit in the locker room- that’s why he asked the question. The reporter did not make an accusation, he did not make a statement. He asked a question and got an answer- that’s what reporters do. I didn’t consider beamers answer to be jerky, or a verbal backhand- it just seemed to me like he was a little insecure about the subject, and was trying to put forth an image of confidence, to hide that insecurity. To me it seemed like the question hit a nerve, and that beamers response indicates there is some truth to it- because his reaction seemed put on to me- not real but fake.
College age men see themselves as bulletproof. As a rule they don’t quit that’s why they are tasked by in large part with defending the nation. Gamecocks got beaten by a better team that’s all. They will work all week to get better and go out next Saturday and be ready for another game.
Sometimes reporters have to ask a stupid question. THAT"S OK because it give the interviewee a chance to answer. It's not about the question. It's about the answer. But in the same respect, let the guy answer how he wants to answer (as long as you aren't insulting anyone). The reporter should be fine with over the top answers because that helps his story. Show some emotion. Show some grit. If it helps fans understand his toughness, then in a small way it helps him do his job. No one should take it personally.
The reporter asking the question knows more about SC football than almost anyone--he's covered the team for 40 years and we SC fans are not asking about the Georgia game but the last 16--we've had 2 good game plans in those 16---

Same reason no one is mentioning that Stetson Bennet was sick and vomited on the field .. and UGA was without a starting WR that didn’t even make the trip.. because it didn’t matter .. same outcome .. hell UGA starters have yet to even see the field in any 4th quarter this season ..

Complete beat down
Shane probably got a pat on the back for handling it that way.
Zero issues with the question. Zero issues, in fact no small amount of respect, for the answer. I do have a bit of an issue with anyone who has an issue with anything that happened in this exchange.
I was almost jumping up and down cheering Shane Beemer with his interview post game. The reporter got just what they deserved for such a stupid comment. Kudos to Coach Beemer for defending his team.👍👍👍
I’m a Georgia fan and I was telling folks all off season that Alabama will absolutely have to take the National championship away from us this year. Alabama is not just a shoe in to win the championship this season like all the media was making them out to be heck a lot of them thought Ohio state would be better than us this year. Hands down we are the best team and it’s a big gap back to 2nd. Go Dawgs 🔴⚫️🔴⚫️
As a buckeye I’ve been wanting to see our offense against your defense for years now
I'm an Alabama fan and I never think Alabama is a shoe-in to win any championship.

@@buckeyeawesome69 I hope Georgia and OSU get to play each other in the playoffs. Hopefully in the natty. Would be a great game.
Go Dawgs!
Watched Shark Week, doesn't come close to what Georgia is doing to teams so I decided to watch PREDATOR! lol
Did Josh Van play? Is he injured or something?
SC is on the up and up. Outsiders might not be able to see it. Beamer has been recruiting his tail off. This is his first true recruiting class. Can’t wait to see what he will do with a full four year cycle!
You are delusional
@@gadawg775 So what's new. Alabama has been doing the same thing in every game with the exception of the Texas game in Austin. It was a 117 degrees on the field even before the game started when ESPN took the temperature. I know some Bama fans that went to the game and they stated the temperature in the stands was 110 degrees and people were passing out. I am the type of fan that doesn't blow smoke so I want everyone to continue talking about Georgia and as a Alabama fan we are fine at #2 because what really counts is how you finish in the end. Alabama fans know that after 18 NATTYs.
@@bamahammer3660 UGA has the best win of the season so far and it's not even close, what makes it look even better is Oregon beating the shit out of #12 BYU this weekend
@@tankj1346 Tank I am not going to go tick for tack with you over who has the best win because it does not matter at this point. The only thing that matters in the end to Bama fans is winning another NATTY. Bama is not concerned with what Georgia, or any other team is doing because they have no control of that. The only thing they can control is themselves. Period.
I believe smart was the one who kept Alabama defense strong year in and out when he was at bama
I think he didn’t go hard enough I think he answered to nicely. What are we talking about how’s anyone butt hurt 😂😭
I see what you did with that title
Well done.
A better comparison would be an orca to a sea lion.
Hell everybody beats the gamecocks and I live in South Carolina big Woop
We are the United States of the Offended...
I don't always agreed with you. However, your commentary was spot on in this instance. Without going into detail, how was he supposed to respond to these questions? He is leading a group of very young men and trying to make them better.
Great coverage of his post game. Now... give Stetson his due lol.... the man is a leader. Not always a quarterback, but always a leader of this offense. Say it! Say it!! Say it!!!
No statistic can show what he is truly doing.
UGA fan here. This is the type of season where everything is going good... And that one loss happens. We're not getting ahead of ourselves. But it's always Florida lol.
This Dawg fan ain’t drinking the Kool-Aid. Saban like his team to overcome adversity, by winning a game where Bama has to make a comeback to win. Hope the Dawgs are not full of themselves come the SEC championship game.
That's what I'm afraid of, too. Or some school like Tennessee catching them sleeping.
until they stop causing these self inflicted wounds, they are gonna have to fight the whole way this season
You are a fan.. not a player… “rat poison “ doesn’t apply to you .. enjoy what you have seen on the field.. it’s for real and legit ..
Please don’t compare Georgia to Bama. We are Georgia and not Bama
I did not expect to win this game but I cannot overlook the missed fundamentals in that game. QB draw on 3rd and 9............. C'mon Satterfield!
Long season, but they look fantastic out the gates.
Beamer at the press conference was fine move on
Not a Carolina fan but I think he was too nice to a really stupid ask question. He should have punched the guy for such a stupid question 😂
College age men see themselves as bulletproof. As a rule they don’t quit that’s why they are tasked by in large part with defending the nation. Gamecocks got beaten by a better team that’s all. They will work all week to get better and go out next Saturday and be ready for another game.
They smoke gamecocks and play decent football
Upset alert?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
No one legitimately has a problem with Beamer's response. Some people just like to put on that jibber-jabber.
Am I the only one that immaturely giggled at the thumbnail title? Georgia smokes what?!
The reporter asking the question knows more about SC football than almost anyone--he's covered the team for 40 years and we SC fans are not asking about the Georgia game but the last 16--we've had 2 good game plans in those 16---
UGA just sees lunch! I love it.

This is exactly how he should have responded to the question. It’s absurd that someone would get offended. My God, we have become so soft.
I watched it, and thought the same thing. What a dumb question! Let's just throw some salt on the wound!
As a Dawg fan and in a world where Kirby isn’t our head coach, Beamer would be On my shortlist of coaches I’d want leading our program.
Nahh fuck that!! That dude's ass
Why isn't anyone mentioning that South Carolina had five of best defensive players not playing in that game, due to injuries. Sure we know Georgia has a lot better athletes on their team than South Carolina does but it's not being honest whenever you don't even mention that the other team had a lot of injuries on the defensive side of the ball.
That’s why you go recruit next man up.. Georgia was literally in this same situation to start last year..
Same reason no one is mentioning that Stetson Bennet was sick and vomited on the field .. and UGA was without a starting WR that didn’t even make the trip.. because it didn’t matter .. same outcome .. hell UGA starters have yet to even see the field in any 4th quarter this season ..
I'm a Clemson fan and hate Sakerlina. Bur I don't hate Beamer. I can't help but like Shane Beamer. It's a double edged sword I don't want them to win a game but I like Beamer. But that question was asked by Phil Kornblut who is a SC Homer and a resident idiot. Shane Beamer should be commended for backhand be delivered. Who wants a coach that would say " yeah these guys, they just quit on me" or no, no quit these guys they were joyous and happy they were only getting beat by 40+. We were happy we weren't getting beat by 50+ they fought but they're just not very good, Phil". Kudos Coach Beamer.
Nothing wrong with Beamer's comments, but the guy isn't qualified to be a head coach in the SEC. If his last name was Smith he'd be washing uniforms.
What else could he say to a silly question,"yeah,we're done for the year and I'm done after 2 years."Proud traditions don't give up after a couple of losses. From a Dawg.
Georgia's defense is incredible! Did anyone notice how empty the stadium was?😳😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah, they are suing UGA for the lack of concession sales... sarc:)
I noticed. I was there. I’m. Gamecock fan and left at the end of 3rd qtr. Georgia is real.
Normal for SC.
Not as empty as the UCLA game
It was so bad Sarah McLachlan started playing in the stadium and the orphan puppies started donating to SC.
