Hi Jeremy, i wondering what your thoughts are on the ctk 2000 compared to the ctk 3500. I was noticing the 2000 has 110 built in songs compared to the 50 offered on the ctk3500 although its a bit of an older model in comparison, I am uncertain as a beginner if i should opt with the 2000 both are used and I was just hoping for a professional opinion and also curious if you can add different songs to the keyboard or if it only works with the preinstalled songs?
I have just started studing to learn playing the piano, after watching videos about learning to play the piano for many years, because of this locking down period, and suddenly I discovered something that no video said: to learn to play the piano you need to learn to play it without watching the keys, simply because the piano is played by two hands and if you watch to one hand you cannot watch to the other one!
Thanks Jeremy. Always good to get your thoughts on these subjects. I've seen all your reviews on these keyboards and it's good to "refresh" via your vids. I just sold a CTK 3500 & bought a CT-X5000. What a monster keyboard it is. I don't think I'm going to need to upgrade for many years.
I have the Casio SA-76, which I have used to play music at religious services at assisted living facilities, and it comes in handy. (It would be nice if Casio would release a 49-key keyboard with mini keys; I think they did a long time ago, but it was not released in the United States.
Based almost entirely on your videos (along with the manual, some sound/rhythm demos), I ordered my Casio CT-X700. I understand your concerns about the convenience of the UI, but the AiX sound quality, price, and feature set just won me over. Thanks, Jeremy, for all your hard word and honest opinions.
Hi Tom, just curious if the CX700 is compatible with the Chordana App as I want to use the app for learning for my daughter. And I honestly like the specs of the CX700 since the price point between the CX700 and the CTK-3500 as so near.
Like you, Jeremy, I ended up letting go my CT-x5000... yes, Casio has leveled up but still couldn't surpass even Yamaha PsR E-series... now I'm waiting for Korg i3 to be released.
Hi Jeremy I have A Casio Ctk 6000 for the past 7 years and it has served me well, why not review that, I know price range could be just a tad bit more but it still suits beginner to intermediate level players
The CT-S100 is the only one that doesn’t seem to have inflated in price like crazy at least where I live. The X700 you liked is almost 3x the price at 270 bucks. I think I’ll either have to settle for the 100 or find some used one. I’m sure either will be better than the 35 dollar keyboard my daughter has now from a toy store.
Tomorrow I am going out to buy a CTS300 or a CTX700.. I've been wracking my brain for days trying to decide which one. I love the CTS size, but love the CTX sound. The CTX has so many more functions, but most I'll never use, but no tone wheel, which the CTS has and I will use. It's driving me nuts.

Hi Jeremy, does the CTX700/800 support the Chordana App of casio? If not I am looking at this or the CTK3500 for my daughter and I think the Chordana App seems like a very good tool for beginners. TIA!👍🏽🙏🏻
Hey my friend. I am a subscriber and fellow "Jeremian". Interesting note, I haven't owned a keyboard in over 20 years & YET I STILL ENJOY WATCHING your keyboard videos and i enjoyed your "living in Singapore" videos. Keep up the great work!!!! One question...from here on. can you please mention in your keyboard videos - whether or not the model has "OCTAVE SHIFT". I know you can get around that by using a keyboards transpose feature (as long as it can up or down 12 semitones/1 octave) but it's not really the same thing. I love Casio keyboards. Really enjoying your videos and advice! Thank You! I am having somewhat of a hard time in choosing. I'm a beginner. Wanting to start with online lessons. Lessons that have the piano/keyboard attached to the computer so my progress can be tracked and graded for rhythm and pitch, etc. I know I'll need a metronome, would like headphone and sustain pedal and I'm guessing touch sensitive would be helpful for a beginner. I question how necessary different voices and accompaniments and a few other features are necessary and helpful for a beginner. I just want to learn how to play first. Portability would be nice as well but still would like full size keys for touch and muscle memory.

I saw the Casio piano CTK-2080 on sale today, I considered buying it as a beginner. I noticed its not mentioned here, would that still be a good choice? In terms of an adult learning with your videos?
Hi Jeremy, if I wanted to buy the CT-X700, I think I would give some more money and buy the CT-X800. The USB connector is really a great addition. Among other things, it makes it possible to upload new rhythms and new songs easily to the keyboard. There is also the possibility to convert a MRF song recorded with the 6-tracks recorder to a standard MIDI file and save it to an USB stick for later edition in a DAW. Actually, it is very easy to produce a standard MIDI file on the CT-X800, which is quite a non-documented feature unfortunately.
Hi Vinciane, yes the CT-X800 is better than the CT-X700, however, in isn't readily available in many markets. Hope France is managing the situation well.

I own an almost fully working Casio Casiotone MT-800 keyboard, there are just a couple of effect buttons that need to be fixed. It is almost fourty years old, my father bought it. The keys are smaller than the standard size and they are not touch sensitive, but, connected to an Hi-Fi amplifier, with Hi-Fi headphones, it sounds good.

Hey Jermy, would you say the ctx700 the best for a beginner pre teen who never touched a instrument in her life? Like does it have any settings or special features for complete beginners? I thought the keylight function on the casiotone would be great for a 13 yo kid whose playing and learning for the first time so was surprised to hear that you don't think there that great. Lol. I'm looking to get one for her for christmas but feel overwhelmed with all the casio options. I was thinking about the light keys being great for a beginner but now im doubting. I am looking to start playing the keyboard and have been watching your videos. I know you recommend the PSR-E363 for your students. Would the PSR-EW300 be a good starting keyboard as well? I wanted to start with 76 keys instead of 61, everything else seems to be about the same from what I could tell.
Jeremy, I just watched your newest video today(which is not popping up here)...anyhow as teacher I like the idea of your computer program that changes the sounds on the cheaper keyboards(yay!)...I was not sure about the key pressure and terrible touch of those...does it actually change that? I was now not recommending those to my students....but if the touch can be improved, I would be willing to try that!!! Did you invent this? I actually need more training in electronic keyboards...I have played acoustic all my life. Short story..looking for a keyboard for a student, I had a guy come over w a nice 400$ used keyboard...it all sounded great...then I realized I could not even TRY out the piano without an amplifier!!!!
Hey Linda, thank you for sharing your thoughts. Do have a look at this other video I made if you haven't done so. ruclips.net/video/BwJulJvCBRo/видео.html
Hi Jeremy! I recently decided I wanted to get a keyboard to start to learn to play and I stumbled across your channel. I really love your content and it has been a great help as I decide what keyboard to buy. I am between the Casio CT-X800 and Yamaha EW-300. I knew your issues with the Casio CT-X700/800, but for my question, is it worth getting a 76 key keyboard or will I be okay with 61?
If your objective is to play classical piano pieces, then maybe you can go with 76 keys. Otherwise 61 keys is enough. Even for a good part of classical music, you can go with it.
The ctx 5000 is a good keyboard if she wants to go further into piano playing however if she wants to simply mess about with it then get a keyboard that’s less “pricy or advanced”
Jeremy See I couldn’t get my hands on the Yamaha E363 it’s sold out everywhere in Europe!! Thomann weren’t *expecting* stock until late July at the earliest so I Went for the Casio CTX800 in the end and I’m super happy!
Guys im not sure what to pick, yamaha np 12 or casio lk s250, i will be playing digital piano for first time. I think key light system will help me better of the casio but i feel like yamaha is better quality, what do i pick??
What you have in mind? You want a better keybed, better sounds, more functions, editing capabilities? Do you want a digital piano to focus on classical pieces? Or an arranger keyboard to be a one-man-band? Or a synthesizer to learn how to shape sounds?
@@GabrielRocha-po9fz I need something that has more functions like more deeper touch sensitivity, more memory for recordings, more voice, pitch bend wheel, a better display, better speakers (Cuz when I go too deep, the whole thing starts to shake), a better speaker grill (cuz mine literally tore apart).
Hi master, i wonder if you keep thinking that ctx700 y the best for beginners, now that ctx800 is on the line. Thanks for all your videos, I will invite a cup of cofe as soon as I get paid.

I need keyboard for my 9 years old kid. Which one will you suggest cts300 or ctx700?

I am looking to start playing the keyboard and have been watching your videos. I know you recommend the PSR-E363 for your students. Would the PSR-EW300 be a good starting keyboard as well? I wanted to start with 76 keys instead of 61, everything else seems to be about the same from what I could tell.
You can find my answer in this video. ruclips.net/video/f815M4jv6uQ/видео.html
@@JeremySee Thank you for the quick reply. I must have missed that video.

Sir casio ctk 2500 vs 2550 in dono me se konsa badhiya hai
61 is fine for most. Definitely no issue with beginners.
If your objective is to play classical piano pieces, then maybe you can go with 76 keys.
Otherwise 61 keys is enough. Even for a good part of classical music, you can go with it.
My 13 year old daughter wants to try a keyboard, she has no music or instrument experience at all. Which would be best for someone like her?
The ctx 5000 is a good keyboard if she wants to go further into piano playing however if she wants to simply mess about with it then get a keyboard that’s less “pricy or advanced”

Great video! Can you please make a review of the Korg Kross 2? I want to buy it and want to hear your opinion on it.
I'd like that too but I think he only does arranger keyboards for now.
What about casio ctk 4400?
Please advise a good budget keyboard with '49' keys
Casio ctk-240
I’m sure you get similar questions frequently but would you recommend the CTK-3500 or the CTS-300 over the now slightly Dated Yamaha PSR-E363?
This is still the best of the 3 geni.us/XQyDB
Jeremy See I couldn’t get my hands on the Yamaha E363 it’s sold out everywhere in Europe!! Thomann weren’t *expecting* stock until late July at the earliest so I Went for the Casio CTX800 in the end and I’m super happy!
@@JeremySee I can't find it in my country, would you recommend the yamaha PSR-E263 instead? or is the ct-s300 better?
Guys im not sure what to pick, yamaha np 12 or casio lk s250, i will be playing digital piano for first time. I think key light system will help me better of the casio but i feel like yamaha is better quality, what do i pick??

Hey I have a psr e363 and I'm thinking of upgrading. Which do you think is the best upgrade
@@incrediblezab CT-X5000
The 363 is still better?
how about ctk-3000?
Hi master, i wonder if you keep thinking that ctx700 y the best for beginners, now that ctx800 is on the line. Thanks for all your videos, I will invite a cup of cofe as soon as I get paid.
CT-X800 is better but not all markets have the 800.
@@JeremySee what is the significant different between ctx700 and ctx800?
Can you plug all of these in your pc?

Good day. Tell me which synthesizer to buy for home schooling: yamaha psr-363 or casio ct-x700? I speak English fluently and can’t read all the comments ((
Thank u so much!
hey dude i never heard u saying abt ctk6300 y dont u look over once?
Because I don't own the Casio company. I also don't own a music shop. And the CTK-6300 is 7 years old and is no longer in production. You can send me one and I'll take a look at it.
Hi Jeremy, should i get a casio ct-s300 or yamaha np-12? In Uk they are similar price.
Both different category of instruments.
Jeremy See what you mean? They both 61 touch sensitive keys and both under 200£ here
Casio CT-S300 is a portable keyboard with many sounds and Yamaha NP-12 is a portable piano.
Ctk 2550 or CTS 200 which one is best ?
CTS 200 but I would recommend the CTS 300
Is Casio WK-6600 better than casio Ct-x3000?
Yes
At the end of 2020, which is the best beginner keyboard?
Wait for my new video
@@JeremySee When will it be out!!
Please tell because we are in a hurry to buy. Actually from 1 month we are thinking to buy
