you know the lens repair kit you can buy for your headlights have you tried that and if so is it any better than the way you did it? or my way of using a heat gun for the little scratches.

Hi, I do love to see the paint being removed in your sandblaster cabinet, I am definitely going to add one to my tools. I already have a fifty-gallon compressor that I made myself and it will be more than capable to run the air gun. I was interested to see you sand the see-through items up to 200 grit (I thought it would have to be a much higher grit than that) but the polish you used caught my eye,, could you tell me what made it is as you did not list it in your info below.
Another cracking resto Martin,have you done any mods to your shot blast cabinet ? it seems to be working loads better in this restoration,keep up the good work mate.

The screen was fractured a lot so cutting wouldn't remove that

Its a brass wadding polish. It is called Brasso over here in the UK but i'm sure it exists in different brands elsewhere.

Just removed a lot of the media and changed the plastic film
