Zen Master Shundo Aoyama Roshi on Zen Seeds

Shundo Aoyama Roshi is one of the most senior female monastics in Soto Zen, in fact. the first to be appointed to the rank of Daikyoshi, or Great Teacher. Now in her 90s, she presides over the training of other women teachers at her monastery in Nagoya, Aichi Senmon Nisodo.
