aka KPDutyQuiter --- This is the first time I've been able to talk to you via comments!!! I've been a dedicated watcher of your videos since covid. I'm into my 3rd year membership of TQS. I'm working on a quilting book, so I haven't made any projects but have joyfully watched every one's progress!! I'm a Bernina girl since I started quilting in 1990. Keep on keeping it real!!
I bought the Kindle version of the Creative Stitches book for my iPad. The photos for right-handed and left-handed instructions really confuse me as I try to use them because the photos for a right-handed person are on the left, and the photos for a left-handed person are on the right. I’m right-handed so I guess I’ll use a sticky note to cover the left-handed photo where I’m working. The book is super helpful though. I especially love seeing photos of stitch combinations.
Alex, you keep saying “take classes”. Okay, yes, classes that would teach/encourage creativity like the pieces you showed, but where are classes like these? They’re not offered at traditional quilt shows.
I don’t like Sunbonnet Sue or the boy Bill (I think), either. I don’t know, maybe they’re too cute or too old fashioned or just too something for my taste.
@@suegraham4323 yeah not my particular taste either but could be sweet in a nostalgic makeover for a babies blanket. Alex mentioned that we all know her opinion on the block but I don’t know her opinion.

I’m very curious to know your thoughts about the sun bonnet sue block.

Alex is not a big fan of the block. So, online friends all sent her some blocks with Sunbonnet Sue. That was very funny and appreciated.
How do I get videos 1-3 for Magic Garden Gnome.
They’re all on RUclips.
