Ekard here! Hope all of you have been doing well! Just wanted to share some of the upcoming content coming on the comic book adaption side for youtube/patreon in the coming weeks! We'll be jumping into 'My Adventures with Superman Season 1 and 2', 'X-Men Evolution Season 1', 'Young Justice Season 1' and 'The Boys Season 4'.
Ive heard people who aren't even X-Men/Comics fans who recommended the show because it's just a good show. If that's not good I don't know what is.
Jubilee and Sunspot with child? The first child of the series not in the comics. That's a big big grown up experience. I think that was her up a notch in rage. Like she's always had powers. She never got mad like that before.
I'm with you on Titans. I was also a fan of Doom Patrol. It's on my like for that show that made me check out Dead Boy Detectives. I enjoy characters that are outside of the "Big 3" and/or overdone characters.

It seems like Gambit's powers should work with Rogue's power but he would have to use his power on her. The biophysics seem to line up.

Is there a character for Aja Wilson? She's a gothic epic massive wonderful woman. She looks amazing. She's a 6'7" and she dolls up nice.
9/10 I didn't the big problems is pacing and the issue of time this story seems like it took place in 2 weeks. I think the reason the storm episode isn't one episode is the writes felt like it too much to give her back her powers in one episode. How I would improve the season is spilt episode 3 in 2 parts. I like that episode but a LOT happened in that episode in one night. The other half of the episode should be Magneto training the x men too hard and learning to relax.
It was far from a perfect show but those imperfections are only due to what would clearly not be feasible from a production standpoint. Its better than anyone could have expected and could only be better if given a massive increase in the production side of things. Stuff like guarantee's of a long running series no matter what. A solid 9/10 with a 10/10 if you rate understanding its flaws as unavoidable. Basically they did as good as they could. A better show is purely theoretical.
I wouldn’t say far from perfect but that’s just my opinion. It’s close to perfection to me just because I’ve never seen a superhero adaptation this well executed. Watching this show felt like reading a comic book something like this I’ve been wanting to see adaptated and it’s finally happening. I give this series a 9.5/10 just because I know this show can go even higher in future seasons.
Rogue is an extremely tragic character of the 90s. That tragedy expanded here. HIV AIDS. Cannot have physical intimacy. Beautiful person. Loved by someone she doesn't want to harm. They added her being disowned then accepted by a surrogate momma that turns her out to a sugar daddy. Like I know people with HIV from this kind of stuff. It's terrifyingly regular. No mentions.
I find the perspective of the critics fascinating. No capacity to imagine a minority perspective. A lot of the haters are impressively dense.
The 90s was an incredible cash grab. Gen X was a very cool comic. However they had about a hundred bucks worth of comic books a month off of Batman the animated series and X-men the animated series. The comic book quality was lost in the board rooms by trying to connect everything all the time so you needed to spend all of your earning and all of your time to keep up. We don't need to make this soap opera a full time job. A couple of shows a week is more than plenty.
I never liked the other Spider-Man cartoons but the 90’s series. Also his story was never completed just like x-men TAS left off on a cliff hanger but I feel you there’s a lot of Spidey shows but to me 90’s Spider-Man is THEEE Spidey, the main. Never liked Tom holland as the web slinger.
Titans. Starfire is. Take note. They're thumbing their nose up at Marvel. This is how you do Storm. Find a beautiful dark skinned black woman. Have her do stuff. Even if it's dumb, we're cool with the beautiful. Give her a sister.
Can you recommend a treatment of Nat Turner to inform the unknowingly racist people among us. I heard a content creator say Nat Turner made things worse. The anger at Magneto for stopping a genocide. Nothing to the president that funded the genocide who doesn't lift finger one to protect the people Bastion was doing his best to kill. I marvel at magneto's restraint.
Was the "Boy in Striped Pajamas", Magneto's lived experience Supposed to peacefully protest? My village used reason.
Making wolverine tall mucks up the relationships in the group and destroys the character. I like Hugh. He ain't Wolverine. A little dude is brave to stand up to Cyclops among others. A big dude is rude. Looking at the short king makes Jean interesting. Lusting after Hugh is shallow.
I enjoyed the show, but I do feel it's over hyped. There's a lot of flaws that are blatantly overlooked by the fandom.
Spoilers...
1. Magneto killed more people than the Holocaust and is not brought to justice (Mutants and pro-mutant humans included).
2. Phoenix shows up out of nowhere with no explanation.
3. Magneto's helmut and Morph were both reconnected heavily.
4. Rogue acting like she was the victim not being able to touch Gambit was silly when that goes both ways (Gambit can't touch her but loves her anyways).
5. Prime Sentinels? So do those people die if Wolverine and Nightcrawler sliced off their limbs once they become regular humans again?
6. As a new viewer this show has to be incredibly confusing. A revival should honor the original story while making it watchable for new viewers. Which is it Beau? A continuation or a new show?
All that being said I praised a great number of things about the show.
1. Less but more meaningful Wolverine. He's not the focus, but when he's on screen he's used well.
2. Cyclops is finally done justice.
3. Gambit...enough said right.
4. Not much filler, something important happens in every episode.
5. Morph cameos are fun.
6. Bastion is a fantastic villain.
7. Old/New Uniforms and changes to the team roster.
8.Characters die!!! There are some stakes to this series.
All is of course my opinion.
