I noticed this is years old. Can I get a modern one. They definitely increased the electricity a great deal. It seems to hit everywhere. I can avoid everything else.
Near the door is a much safer spot against the electric towers for those still struggling. You can't get hit there and you can use the crossbow to deal damage safely
I've been dying over & over farming Wolfies 'cause I thought I'd need some Liquid Rage for the A.M. but I guess I can stop now since seeing this video. Thank gawd. Helpful as always!
I just beat him using lady bug armour, a black ant shield and a tier 2 hammer. If you circle anticlockwise while crouched you will avoid the lasers. Or go clockwise but jump. I used 1 bandage. That's it. The rest was ladybird blocks.
During the laser stage, just go behind one of the far pillars, the beams can't get you there. For the electric stage, go to the centre. It's only when both a switched on that you have to move and dodge the lasers.
When i stopped ignoring the adds and killing them when i could. It made the Electricity rounds MUCH easier. Since i could just hang out in the Middle waiting on lazers without being harassed by the built up adds.
Good fight! Wasn't even close! I think A.M. took me 3 tries to beat, the only 'attack' of his I really don't like is the tesla towers. Oh and the electric balls can be reflected/blocked.
Much appreciated! Yeah, typically I just avoid all of his attacks rather than try to reflect his ball attacks. There's yoo much goin on by the end to focus on that. 👊
I didn't have any trouble my first time, got hit by a couple lasers and electricity, but after getting hit once basically figured it out. I used an ant club upgraded to 5, and just smashed him and his minions. I did use Barbarian mutation, the swift run one, and one other I forget which I think perfect parry. When he was running around with lasers up just figured the jump and duck while I was keeping on 'em, he went down without any problem and I don't think I was close to death at any point.
I have defeated this before using my xbow, but I just got my butt handed to me 3 times, so I decided to look for tips. Lo and behold you had just made this video. ty.
Hopefully it helps! It's all about preparation. I could've just went straight OP & told everyone to just get the Morningstar & Roly Poly armor, but odds are, most people won't go to that length & don't need to! Just like the Broodmother fight, I avoid the adds & just focus on the "boss", it's much easier! 👊
Just gotta dodge the lasers & focus on the Assistant Manager himself. The adds are slow enough that you can avoid them when movin around. Good luck! You'll get him!
Damn, the electric pylons are crushing me in seconds. No matter how many minions I kill, they keep reappearing. It is not very clear where the electricity won’t hit me.
I didn't use your method because I wanted to try to beat it dry and without having unlocked all the status perks and I was able to do it with some focus. I wanted in there with no prep, just used items I found on the way through the lab and the gear I always use, ladybug armor lvl 2 tough and a lvl 2 axe no toughness. Chopper, meat shield, one of the stamina buffs. I found all the bandages in the lab that I used and I found sticky slop which helped too. You can do it guys!
Thanks! It's pretty simple, but it is effective. Pretty similar to the Broodmother in just ignoring the adds & focusing on the boss. That & being prepared with smoothies! 👊
Catch 22; Cant get 2 handed weapon until you beat Asst Mngr. Need 2-handed to get coup de grass II. The suggestion is to have coupdegrass II to beat Asst Mngr.
Things changed. The recipes have moved & been locked behind other labs. You can get the Red Ant cl7b which is 2 handed, but you need a tier 2 two handed weap9n for coup de grass phase 2. Phase 2 isn't a requirement though, phase one still works, it just depends on your luck of the critical hit proccing.
So I’m already at the boss fight and I don’t have all of those mutations I have some but not all should I go back and farm to get those mutations or not
I have a good tip to defeat the assistant manager get the black and shield to block the giant bubble and the weapons to get are pinch whacker I tride his method but I died multiple times but when I used my method I didn't die.
I'm gonna test the fight with the Assistant Manager & Broodmother again & see about a new strat due to the weapon changes & see if it can be done easier!
I was always rolling 2 canteens! 😆 I've settled on using one except for the journey to get through the Black Ant Hill. Rather be safe than sorry in there! 👊
there are a lot of tactical errors in this run... when the lasers go off, stand behind the pillars and shoot the AM with a bow/crossbow. when the pillars are electrified, stand near the center pylon where it's safe, crouch and move with the lower laser. AM is weak to salt, so a L5 SMS is a good choice, with crit buff and barbarian at least L2. also a L5 crossbow with sharpshooter L3 if possible.
Bit of a stretch to go get the Salt Morning Star just for this fight. Dodging the lasers isn't difficult & the bow is a waste of time to use. There are multiple methods to any fight & this is a simple one to follow.
Lmao my pinch wacker got broke and my ladybug armor got broke 4 different times fighting this guy but I wasnt prepared at all. No food, no bandages, no smoothies, only reliable friend mutation, and a trash friend
Bro me and my brother over prepared for this fight with full antli9n Armour and antlion gratawords with many heals and rages. We ended up killing it in less than a minute and didn't lose any health
Ugh, ziplines lol. Fun stuff! Well the Assistant Manager isn't too tough anyways. He's difficult for the first "boss" pretty much, but as long as you're prepared, he's not really a threat. His death room can be a challenge if you're not careful though.
The video is older so with full release being out, there's been quite a bit of changes to enemies as well as aesthetics. I plan on doing newer videos covering the game as soon as I can!
Absolutely! The best setup would be probably Roly Poly armor & the Salt Morning Star. This video is more catered to the first attempt without any major upgraded weapons.
Prepare with smoothies. Have an upgraded armor set & salty weapons. Don't worry about the adds, they're slow enough that you can avoid them. Focus on the Assistant Manager & avoiding the lasers & you can do it!
It sad when you show people this cuz you doing it on easy that doesn't he'll no one cuz you can latterly just stand there an face tank sad show it on higher difficulty
It's on medium which is the difficulty that I believe the majority of players choose. I can show it on Whoa mode as well if you'd like, it's on a past livestream if you're looking for it.
Yeah, it's a bit more chaotic but not bad if you work it right. I'll see what I can do, I've not redone my story on Whoa mode since BSB, so I can get in there & do it again.
@@OriginalRyan That's what I was looking for. THis is our first playthrough and we are doing Whoa and just encountered this guy last night. We were wearing black ant armor because we thought the ants would leave us alone if we did. We are going back all with clubs, spicy arrows and ladybug armor to get this guy next time.
Check out our Broodmother guide here as well! ruclips.net/video/Pwy1c9tgHR4/видео.html Enjoy & as always, stay original my friends! 👊
This is great advice. It's what finally helped me get through this fight.
Ty I got it, the beams don't even touch u
I couldn't remember how to do the first time
Nice! 👊
im about to go home and try this 🙏🏽
Good luck! Just don't get flustered! We'll be doing new guides soon!
This was a tough fight. Thanks for a good little walk through. Much needed.
Definitely tough if unprepared! I always get flustered when I'm unprepared lol. Glad this can help out! 👊
Much appreciated. After trying 3 times with a full squad I beat it solo on my first try with your method. 💯💯👏🏾👏🏾
Awesome! Nice job!
@@OriginalRyan Thank you.
now it’s my turn😂
You've got it Josh! 👊
I've been dying over & over farming Wolfies 'cause I thought I'd need some Liquid Rage for the A.M. but I guess I can stop now since seeing this video. Thank gawd. Helpful as always!
Awesome! Definitely not needed, just need beefy for the heals & I'd recommend max health & damage resist if ya can, those help! 👊
Make sure you grab the weapon from the little room upstairs on the left. It’s pretty fun. I noticed he missed it and figured others might as well.
I actually didn't miss it. At the time of recording this fight, that weapon hadn't been released yet, lol. Good help, though!
How do you unlock the door? It was locked when I went up there.
@DatDudeUH8 you need to complete 8 mixers
I want my pookie bear prod smacker so back
Bro i just best him all my armor was kinda low now it’s gone lol
I just beat him using lady bug armour, a black ant shield and a tier 2 hammer.
If you circle anticlockwise while crouched you will avoid the lasers. Or go clockwise but jump. I used 1 bandage. That's it. The rest was ladybird blocks.
Nice! Hopefully, others can utilize this strategy! Especially with normal mode being made easier.
For anyone having problems in the last phase, go to the center and use a bow. That makes it really easy.
Great tip Sebastian!
The fight has changed a lot. I'm seeing about makin a new guide for the fight.
It’s fight is hard to me I just started playing
It can be difficult the first time! Stick with it & you'll beat him in no time!
Back at it without skipping a beat buddy 💯
Tryin! 😆
Good fight! Wasn't even close! I think A.M. took me 3 tries to beat, the only 'attack' of his I really don't like is the tesla towers. Oh and the electric balls can be reflected/blocked.

A year later and it’s still helpful keep up the good warm 👍
I'm glad to help! 👊
Thank you for sharing this tactic. Beat it with ease right after I watched this video.
Nice! There are easier ways now, but this is a solid tactic imo.
If you use splatburst even though he is resistant against explosives, if you use 10-12 of them, you can get him to really low health
Seems like a waste having to deal with so many mosquitoes. But, if it works, then go for it!
Thanks for the good advice. I beat it first try with your help
Nice job!

Nice! For most people, once you figure out a pattern & are prepared enough, it's not a bad fight at all.
I don't know how you survived getting hit with lazers and electric shock so much. It pretty much kills me instantly when I get hit.
Just try to memorize the lazer pattern that goes around. For the second lazer attack, hide near the wall in between pillars & you should be safe.
@@OriginalRyan I didn't have to, I just stood in the corner and the lasers didn't hit me.
Nice! Congrats! 👊
I found there was a very efficient way its weakness is bursting so if you use an insect it does it a lot faster
Nice! Obviously, updates have changed the strategy. Nice nonetheless!

Damn, the electric pylons are crushing me in seconds. No matter how many minions I kill, they keep reappearing.
It is not very clear where the electricity won’t hit me.
Focus on the Assistant Manager & didge the slow moving minions. There are corners in which to hide to avoid the proximity electricity.
I didn't use your method because I wanted to try to beat it dry and without having unlocked all the status perks and I was able to do it with some focus. Awesome man! 👊
The lasers and arcs do way more damage now… I have heavy armor on and he is smashing me plus they weapon nerf is bad
I started another new game so when I get to that point, I'll see if we can get a better strat due to the weapon nerf.
Great strategy!
Thanks! It's pretty simple, but it is effective. Pretty similar to the Broodmother in just ignoring the adds & focusing on the boss. That & being prepared with smoothies! 👊
Thank you very much I was stuck here.
Awesome! 👊
Great video I still need to fight him so this was pretty useful
Honestly, smoothies are the key! The Ant club takes a bit, but once you find a rhythm, it's pretty easy! 👊

@@OriginalRyan I ended up beating him with the mint mallet and it didn’t seem too terribly difficult
After the "Into the Wood" update? How was it with the combo system in play?
How are you not taking so much damage, from the blue pillars? I'm using the same armor but it's doing like a quarter
Likely they adjusted the fight itself after full release.
have you joined milton with the 2 canteen movement?
I was always rolling 2 canteens! 😆 I've settled on using one except for the journey to get through the Black Ant Hill. Rather be safe than sorry in there! 👊
That's automatic lol. Common sense kinda
Everytime I try to fight him with my ladybug armor I take more damage then you did and I just don’t get it the Tazy.T’s so much more damage to me too
Are you solo or in a group? The fights are scaled to the number of players. Are you using smoothies as well? They definitely help.
there are a lot of tactical errors in this run... when the lasers go off, stand behind the pillars and shoot the AM with a bow/crossbow. when the pillars are electrified, stand near the center pylon where it's safe, crouch and move with the lower laser. Insane lmao I beat it with ladybug armor and the club his using in the video lol
Nice!
Do the robots get damaged by the lasers?
Unfortunately no.
Does it work with lady bug armor or is it better with spider armor
You could use ladybug armor for sure! Better defense, but you'll have less stamina. Scarlet embrace would help with the passive heal too. 👊
Lmao my pinch wacker got broke and my ladybug armor got broke 4 different times fighting this guy but I wasnt prepared at all. No food, no bandages, no smoothies, only reliable friend mutation, and a trash friend

I’m glad that u used like 7 mutations so that people like me that r trying to beat it for the first time, r not helped whatsoever
You should have plenty of mutations by the time you fight him. Also, you max out at 5 so...
Yeah I got there too early, I realise that now….
I ended up beating it with 1 mutation and the red ant club with no upgrades
