There's quite a number of funny bits in the game. The funniest would be a giant multi-legged spider mech boss that hopped around on its last leg after you shot off the rest of its legs. Another funny moment is that your teammate scolds you if you ignore their plea for help and they have to heal themselves up. Japan is supposed to be under totalitarian rule and yet our characters can easily order new ammo from the local automated delivery system and have them delivered in seconds.
Not sure if I'd call this Japanese Mass Effect, its more like Japanese Gears of War. Its alot like Gears of War, except its story isnt dogshit and the characters have more personality
