From the moment I first saw Street Fighter 4, I took a liking to seth. Once I finally got an xbox, then soon after Super Street Fighter 4, I picked him up immediately. Seth's been my definitive man for probably going on a year now, and I've learned plenty of mean tricks. I use alot of the stuff in the video actually, so this is a pretty good tutorial. The only thing that suprised me was when you followed Cr. hp with Cr. hp in the corner. Learning new tricks every day!
Nice video. I think another good tip...for SF in general, is to always st. lp if you are hit confirming on a standing oppenent for the extra frame advantage of your cr. mp before going into legs
by visual cues, when you hit the lightning legs hold down and memorize how long it takes for seth to recover, then do the legs again and this time hold up forward as soon as seth starts to jump press down and medium kick simultaneously

Although you have to watch out with some characters like cammy where you have to walk forward for a few frames to get a good hit. Be sure to be timing your kicks now or else you probably won't get all three hits into dive.
@chiibiROXAS Yeah that part I kinda messed up on. When you are doing that combo without a focus you just do cr.lp, st.hp. If you do get a focus use a light tanden then do the combo. They are usual to far away for it to connect.
I usually hold back when jabbing, that way in-case a shoryuken comes out I am blocking, then when I feel comfortable with my mixup I will go for down back to down to down forward to up at the top right of the joystick.

@zack19891 Well if you want to get a short wall jump you have to be rubbing against the wall. If you are a bit out of mid screen and jump back when you reach the wall you will be at a maximum high in your jump.
The Tanden Engine is really useful I think. Cancel a blocked st.HP or cr.HP into LP Tanden, and you get a free combo if they fail to block that. If they do block it you can set up a tick throw, SPD, SRK FADC, etc. It's also useful against fireballs if timed correctly. Depending on the situation the HP one is useful to. I like to continually mess with my opponent's spacing to set up my own plans.
@chiibiROXAS The only thing really to be more careful about is his jumping heavy crossup. The range on it has been reduced and makes it more difficult to hit. I would also avoid doing the shoryuken bait, unless you are very good at jumping off the wall at the correct position to actually avoid a shoryuken that has a huge hitbox and to punish it.
Unfortunately they made it in the most recent version that Seth's kicks have specific timing on every situation and characters. For example in the corner after legs, it is very hard to combo the hop-kicks on like Juri, and Cammy and a bunch of others. With the elbow + shoryuken its also impossible I think on characters like Cody. You just have to practice a lot and get use to the new timing, like stalling certain kicks to fall more and catch up to the opponent.
how do you follow up all those moves with headstomps in the air, once i pop people up i can never jump into the air and do headstomps fast enough, and when i do it looks like the stomps go right through them and dont count...
@Enjoyrastapanda7 so u mean,if seth is in corner already if wall jump i get short jump and seth reaches to the corner while jumping back then he will jump higher,it will be very handy,thanks alot.
the wall jump u showed was not so high the one i get is a very high one which can even go above akuma's ex air fireballs some times and thus i can even get hit by dp on dive kick as well,any idea how to get tht short wall jump......
you're probably playing on pad where it's usually easier to use triples for EX moves. a trick you can do for that (if you're using the default setup on a pad) is if you press square and R1 or triangle and R1 together for the EX. That way you don't have to twist your hand around to make that weird position to hit square and triangle together for the EX.

I haven't fully watched this video but theres one section where you do (im a tekken junkie so idk about ssf4 terms) .... cr.lk, st.lp, st.hp, sonic boom, fadc ...repeat ... is that still possible? maybe my input sucks but everytime I do st.hp I do his long ranged move.

People keep in mind that if you land a crumple focus attack or if you use tanden engine you can do cr.lk > cr.lp > st.hp > shoryuken/hyakuretsu/etc.

You might want to do cr.LK cr.LP (instead of cl.LP) into cl.HP because cl.LP misses on Blanka (dunno if even more)
