what i noticed with my procrastination and deadlines is that i cannot be the one setting them; my brain is too smart and knows im trying to trick it so it often ends up tricking me back with a "well we can always extend the deadline since it's a deadline only for us by us so whats the point" so i dont end up doing things i want to 😅 i found asking someone to keep me accountable and check in is a very big help to prevent me from endlessly procrastinating.
You did a great job on your skirts. I have the same sewing machine as you and making buttonholes on it is very easy. You need to get an aluminum sewing expandable button guide tool and you’ll be a pro in no time!
Thanks! So I basically worked off a basic skirt block and took the darts out in the front. You could just use a basic a line skirt pattern. I just figured out the overlap for the front by cutting out one full front and one half front and deciding where I wanted the buttons to go. Then after sewing i hemmed everything then sewed the opening closed by sewing over where I hemmed it. Then sewed on the buttons. Ill see if I can find an actually pattern that someone else has made thats similar for you!
