This is one of the better ANGC videos I’ve ever seen. It shows the course and the undulations so well. Congrats on your round and I bet it still brings a smile many years after. Thanks for sharing.
@@declancorke289 Biggest difference between TV views and in person are the massive slopes on the greens, and how enormous and deep the bunkers are...they are insane
Yeah, not 100% sure but think selling their round is automatic termination if discovered. But im sure it's tempting. Was very surprised we had carts too, but they try to speed up pace of play.
What a great experience. I guess the first question is How? I've been to the course but never made it past the Magnolia Lane entrance. My wife took a video of me walking down Berkmann Rd trying to get a peek of the 4th green. (I don't think that Berkmann Rd is even open to the public any more since ANGC acquired the property). Surprised how much brown grass there is in June. Thank you for posting.
Thanks Rich! How - is that I'm related to an employee, no clout or pull outside of that! And I didn't have the best equipment for pics and videos, but I can assure you, although not the same as early April, the course was still unbelievably gorgeous in late May
I can't stop smiling when I watch this. You captured that experience very well. So just how did you get to play this amazing course? Were you an employee or something?
yeah.. they allow a select few to play about a month, or so, after the masters... and, it's all rye grass so, it really starts to die out quickly after the spring..
They were blazing. And this was over a month later from when the tournament is there. So can't even imagine what they must be like then. 10-11 I'd say if I had to guess. Thanks Tyler
Keep in mind this was the employee weekend, which is treated differently than the a normal round throughout the year. We had no choice but to ride to help with pace of play
Did you see any employees sell their rounds? I wonder what the going rate is.... I would pay $1000. But I am sure some rich guys would pay 5 to 10k or more. What a cool experience that not many normal folk get to play. Didn't know they allowed carts to everyone.
Corek BleedingHollow - Well, be a member, a guest of a member, be an employee, or a guest of an employee (I was a guest of an employee). It was amazing. Thanks
Great vid. I'm not certain: 1. How you were allowed to video this? AN seems to have strict rules about this but perhaps I'm misinformed? 2. Why you didn't have a caddy? My understanding (misunderstanding?) is that all players are assigned a caddy. Thanks for sharing

Members and Member Guests have caddies. This was "Employee-Day", I was told most of the caddies were actually playing that day.
at the end of the day augusta is just a golf course. watching this video you'd never guess it's one of the most famous courses in the world. looks like any normal golf course.. lol. but we all know it's not.
MDT Prints Well, no easy route, but the full time employees there get to play the course once a year and bring a guest....so, that’s my route. It is worth whatever u gotta do. One of the few places that actually exceeds the hype. Hope it works out for ya!

@@loodakriss27 When I played in 2015 it was $500. They might have raised the prices though. They can probably charge just about whatever they want and people will still pay it. It is a great course. However, we played Spyglass on the same trip and, while it might not be as GOOD of a course as Pebble, I actually thought Spyglass was more fun to play.
It was my dream come true for sure. I've been lucky to play some nice courses, but none I have played come close to that place. I can die happy now haha. Thanks Russell!
So employees are allowed to bring one guest to play with them? No caddies, but would you have been allowed to walk or did they politely insist you ride? I'm cringing seeing a cart on AGNC. They should be banned there.
I know! Yeah, had no choice, had to ride. Those 2 days are pretty slammed, so I think it's a pace of play thing. But felt the same way, just didn't seem right...Come April you can't tell a cart was ever on there that's for sure.
