stan sykes Agreed I can't remember the last time someone actually got in a decent shot at Shuffle, he's hard to get an angle on though he's just funny and posh that's all he lets out, Raptor did the best he could with what he got he knew he was gonna lose before it even started.

Shuff is a rapping comedian. It seems he's deliberately being put against battlers to contrast their styles, I think it works as entertainment but choosing a winner is pure subjective.
nah, I think it isn't a contest. I can't choose a winner, in this types of battles they both win if they do it like this. However, I think Pat Stay vs Shuff would be hella match
Comedy is subjective too but the thing is most people find the same things funny. Anyone could watch shuffle T and laugh. Most people cant watch raptor and care what hes sayin.

Good battle! Raptor verses were fire, and Shuffle was goddamn hilarious.
Everything about Shuffle's performance is sound. Great acting, great humour. Even those little bits he throws in like "very touching actually" and the laugh into "anyway" to add authenticity to the teacher character. Hilarious.

Shuffle T is clever. Raptor is good too with his wordplay but, Shuffle is on another level with his stories about Raptors teacher back in his school days - classic.
Amazing performance from both. Shuffle for me though as I prefer the jokes. In terms of DF's quality, it's difficult to know exactly what's going/gone on behind the scenes... Only the DF team will truly know what's going on and why. I was at 7BW last year and I remember thinking how poorly run the event was. People were standing around all day in a roasting hot, sweaty MoS, some big battles were cancelled, Shuff battled an audience member ?! - it was all a bit weird, and I felt a bit let down having paid a fair bit to be there. The thing that struck me the most though was Eurgh pleading with the crowd to go to the bar and buy water for the battlers?! I couldn't believe what I was hearing/seeing - as an events organiser how could you not have sorted water for your performers? From then on, things have just got worse and worse - the whole business/channel just seems poorly run to me. I'll visit DF channel every now and again, maybe once a month, but KOTD is now far better quality
Pretty much all MoS events were like this. There were occasions where people passed out due to the heat. They had to turn the air-conditioning off to get the audio and often it wasn't put back on between battles, despite the amount of standing around that went on. Organisation *is* tough and a lot of the waiting around seemed to be because battlers weren't ready to go or even at the event.
DF is a business for Eurgh and he has to minimize his costs any way he can, like by not considering that the people in his employ, to perform and work for him might need basic provisions. I feel like he'd defend to the death why he has no obligation to do it, either. He doesn't exactly seem like a compromise kinda guy, does he?
Cancellations will happen and most cannot be avoided. However, there have been a number of cancellations involving international battlers and I suspect you could accredit those to DF and the battlers themselves not following the proper channels in order to battle in a country where a Performance Visa is required. Remember when Thesaurus got rejected from entry and Daylyt ended up getting questioned and subsequently jilted Rone? Daylyt was told to say he was there to 'see Jeff Price', so they're asking battlers to lie to immigration to perform illegally. Is it any wonder battlers don't make it through with a story that paper thin? DF confirm the battle, adds it to the flyer, dazzle people with the idea of it, take your money for the ticket and then not give a fuck whether they actually turn up. Once you buy the ticket, whether the event is good or not, they have your money.
This is brilliant, Raptor's first round was killer, then Shuffle T did his thing which is basically a one man play for rounds 2/3. Best of both worlds. Probably my favourite battle.

It's good to take a break from talking about stabbing, shooting, drug selling and misogyny. His voice sounds like he should be narrating kid's shows on CBeebies, but his style reminds me of why he's fortified right here in DF...

This is actually a really hard one to judge. Probably two of the best performances from both of them at the top of their game. The most inventive I've seen Shuffle with his storytelling ability and Raptor seemed really relaxed and more low key in his delivery which actually suits him. Great pen on both sides.

I like shuffle but his rounds were hard to watch, i think hes really improved his actual rapping now i.e. against shotty/georgie roots. This was top class from raptor though
