Unan was wise to switch his style up for this battle. You can't step to Shuffle trying to be overly-aggressive when all he's gonna do is clown you. That'd look ridiculous.

For the most part, he's pretty well composed, like Anton Murphy shouting in his face and Zen motioning like he's going to hit him, and he just doesn't even flinch for either.
He said in a reaction video to one of his battles that he doesn't feel nervous but his body just shakes uncontrollably (presumably adrenaline) and it plays with his mental state when trying to drink water or hold up papers etc bc he looks scared

Shuffle T is so much more of a battler than Unan tho, u can just tell watching the 3rd round... shuffle goes from literally having people laguhing, at himself, purely making fun of himself, into talking about Unan's real life-tied in with his battling career, and make the room vibe change entirely (on camera) in like, a 0.5second shift of time from laughter to 100% somber in a second.. im not sure if that comes purely from writing or if its some type of hidden emotional cue someone can learn via becoming an actor.... i dunno. Shuffle genius, Unan won this 2-1 or 3zip.. u could tell this one meant a lot to him, shuffle seemed like only the 3rd round mattered to him... and even then, shuffle manages to bring the least material to battles & still make debatables/not taking clear L's entirely off of endeering character.. its quite magnificent. Never was a dot flop fan for real for real, i just was subbed for american-battler-debuts and what not, checkin for my dude Caustic and Quantum & Qleen when they rarely perform on dont flop (not THAT rarely) but Shuffle T really made a permanent follower/fan of his battles, out of me, from one of first 2-3 battles ive ever seen from him...
Marlo jumping in unanymous 3rd is an underated moment, nothing crazy but cool moment.

i feel shuffle is starting to fuck up, him and marlo were great and they complimented each others strengths etc.. but shuffle asked for his last two battles and clearly lost both... his problem seems to be that he covers his lack of rapping ability with his multis which are starting to look a bit stale and he isn't quite funny enough without marlo to get away with a clowning style... obviously marlo's interjection would have fucked him over regardless... glad unan won because people were starting to pick on him
I felt Unan took this when I watched the PPV. Now that I watch it back, that hasn't changed. Respect for how he switched up here, hope this sees a new approach in prep from now on. Solid battle

Fuck man, Unan bodied Shuffle, had the body bag zipped up during round two. Shuffle had nothing to say and couldn't say anything; Unan stopped any angle Shuffle could have used, he highlighted and exposed those angles which left whatever Shuffle had to say useless. Subbed to this channel after seeing Shuffle-T and never really cared for Unan but have to give it to him, he was just a lot better.

I've probably watched this battle about four or five times over the years. Originally I thought Shuffle took it. Slowly I'm coming round to the fact that Unan's material was actually great and aged well. I'm now thinking he took it.
unan suprised me. before this i thought shuffle gonna win, but now i think unan may have edged it. unans new style is really good. he has more jokes, he set things up before the battle. i liked how he mentioned the battle between shuffle, and 100 bullets.

Battles like this are the reason I still tune in to Don't Flop main events. No one won or lost, it was just a fun battle between well developed personas... I really wish more of the roster was this developed / entertaining enough for me to care about. Also, to people paying special attention to any member of the audience and devoting their emotions and comments toward him without even MENTIONING the battle... just stop. You are lame.

Think this was a better battle for unan than shuffle. regardless of who won - unan showed different sides to himself which he hasn't really done before (and as shuffle pointed out its getting a bit stale) and I think his first and second rounds not only proved that he has more in his locker, but broke down shuffle more than anyone else has done and exposed him for future battles.
shuffles third round was fucking fire. he came hard personal and left unan on the floor. I would give the battle to shuffle t based on his last middle tier scheme alone
but i think exposing unan to that will make unan up his game and based on this performance I want to see more of him - for the first time in a long time
Shuffle is so consistently good no one gives him credit. Big step up from unan though, got him taking the first but shuffle the last two, close though. As far as the kid standing at the front goes, he's probably been to more events and helped this company more than most you people taking the piss
