A little note, since the Garden 1.8 update from the 21st of April (i think) you don't need a light source to grow crops, so you can entirely skip the night saver to farm on the garden
@@PabloGeneyro as the guy said, for the day saver you need sunflowers that you can ONLY get from flower minions, cheapest for go for 15m, and the night saver just requires quartz collection 2, 15 brown mushrooms and 15 quartz
one thing to mention, things that are tool specific only upgrade for 1 crop, things that go on armour or equipment work on every crop, which is what i like to call "global farming fortune", meaning its essentially 10x more worth it to get upgrades for armour/equipment as it works on every crop instead of just one
By the way, most people still don't know this, but you can axe swap with the lantern helmet to get the benefits of it with a hoe. (wear the hat, equip an axe, go into your inventory and swap the axe with your hoe of choice) I can't speak to whether it still works, but last time I checked (a few days ago) it did
Yep! This can be useful if you have farming levels and want to use a hoe with a little boost! Helmet gets outclassed by other gear, but very early this can be nice
Actual life saver M a returning player to skyblock took a break for 2-3 years glad to come across this guide that’s gives me a great method of earning money.
Additional info The FF displayed in the tab menu doesn't include anything crop specific, like level bonuses and the counter bonuses from goes or the bonuses from garden specific crop upgrades from garden level. In reality where the tab me u tells me I am ff1031 for cane it's actually much nearer ff1300 with all the other bonuses. I have checked this extensively.
For the personal compactors, it is probably the easiest if you set up red stone minions with the compactor that gets it to enchanted red stone blocks. Wheat minions can give you collection, as well as feed the composter. Pumpkins are a big way to get xp, and it is one of the easier crops to farm. There are many design videos for farms that you need to get cropie, squash, and fermento armor. This video is very useful, but the best designs can be found in other videos.
Extra Info) Mushroom farm is easy to build but need grinding since you need garden 10. Its easy with grinding farming milestones so I suggest making a sugarcane, pumpkin farm atleast.
A tip for early game is that if you want purely more FF (not more drops like squash) replace the farming set helmet with lantern helmet and hold an axe (any) then open your inventory and swap your axe with the hoe (drag it do not shift click)
Everything you said was spot on, except for the Jacob's contests. Level 100 Elephant with Yellow Bandana, Full Reforged Croppie doesn't guarantee Silver in any contests. People have advanced way too far now, and should know that before expecting to hopefully get Silver.
Really nice video, idk if anyone said it but even with just 1 plot of land wheat, carrots, and potatoes are super easy to get bronze. Just spend 25 copper to get the hoe with replenish and you’re good. And once you do that 8 times I would buy the pumpkin Dicer, spend 160 copper to put sunder V on it, and that should also be enough to get bronze.
Hey fun fact , at the start you should participate in the Jacob contests because even though you don't have bronze you still get a ticket, which is worth like 50k on bazaar

finally a guide that is useful for new players and doesn't expect some level 5 noob to have 300M coins somehow. I saw so many videos like "what you need is this 100M pet and then a 60M ---" and it's like... what new player starts with 160M coins lmfao. A few things though, as this video is a little old - as of right now, Booster Cookies are hovering in the ~8.5M coin range, so not cheap at all. Pretty sure Mooshrooms and Elephants have also gone up a fair amount. I'd also say (from my perspective), that for early-mid game, go for the Pumpkin armour - the Lantern Helm and Farmer Boots; both give +1 fortune for each farming level you have, although the helmet only works if you have an axe (so good for Pumpkins/Melons/Cocoa).
im very late however just wanted to say you do get more crops with higher pumpkin and melon dicers its just the RNG drops give you significantly more you can do some research to find the farming fortune equivalent of each upgrade
You can start with Sugarcane also. You will not get the max Farming xp per crop but you can use the Enchanted Sugarcane to boost your Alchemy levels and there by giving you more God Potion buff time. Use a Sheep pet when grind Potion making then if you are not using mage build sell the max level sheep pets for profit on the AH.
@@Thorpian most player grind the enchanted sugarcane and put it back for Derpy Mayor but you can get your God Potion up to 18 hours with just 10minutes of Alchemy work then hit the rest up during the Derpy Event. But the base is like 12 hours so it is worth a little boost.
I really like this video and agree with everything EXCEPT one thing. So I’m gonna be honest with you guys, I just hit farming level 35 and it’s gonna take a while to get to 40. Skipping over Squash armour entirely isn’t even really better than just buying fermento because you need the farming levels anyways so even if you upgrade to squash at level 35, you can most likely farm everything to get up to full fermento by the time you hit farming 40, even before that tbh. So theoretically you aren’t gaining a whole lot but you aren’t really losing any money either since ur farming everything you need to craft the fermento armour. You can also craft the ranchers boots instead of buying them
now that squash prices have dropped, I could be convinced that it's worth upgrading. Just make sure you do all at once and switch crops (to retain extra bonus drops).
@@Thorpian Thank u for responding and yeah I agree. I have a question though, with the fermento armour, can u still get cropie squash and fermento drops by just mining the corresponding crops? Cus that isn’t anywhere in the Wiki or anywhere
ironmen: dont worry about the agro sack but farming without a personal compactor will be a living hell. Go get a basic one at the very least(4000), id recommend spending an extra 10-15 hours to make it a 7000 the melon armor+rancher boots will take around 50-60 runs of the preset farms at 20+ farming with basic farming gear on for each crop(5 mins per run, took me 2 days to get the armor) sunder 4 is 80 copper, sunder 5 is 160. get 4 early, get 5 when you can.(axe farming fortune) it seems like the librarians that give books seem to like sugar cane so plan to farm that. Getting the books for specific crops from them is going to be easier than competitions
I honestly wouldn’t skip squash bc farming 40 takes a really long and you can get fermentos while grinding netherwart with squash and netherwart is best for money.
side note if you get to the end of the video and think i want more than that you can use a mooshroom cow and maxed gear for strength for even more hypermax
Wheat, Carrot, Potato, and Pumpkin are all easily bronzed with 1 plot early with Farm armor and 15-20 farming with epic+ rabbit pet. Also BIG sidenote, Blessed reforge requires 25 mining to apply, if you trust someone enough they can apply it for you and it will work fine.

After getting: Garden 14 Maxed Hoe, Armors, Artifact and Epic Rarity and Rooted Equipment 20 bps farm design Maxed out Elephant with green bandana I still can't get golden medal and it's hella annoying. How the hell I can't get a single golden medal already? I don't even get it... like it should be impossible for me to NOT get golden at this point.
This is true! Bingo can let you have a smaller pool of visitors so the librarian will come more often (I tested this on a Livestream and there are some interesting spawning mechanics, but I figured out why and gonna make a video about it for next bingo). Last time, the prices didn't rly fall, but ppl didn't know about this so maybe they will next time.
I wouldn’t suggest buying the melon armor off the AH. I would just farm it myself cuz it ain’t that hard. I run a two layer melon farm with a melon diner with nothing besides efficiency 5 and I got all pieces within a reasonable amount of time. ( However if you have money to burn which I usually don’t then you can go ahead. )
So you're right, it's not too hard to get yourself, especially if you have melon minions. However, melon armor sells for BASICALLY the value you'd get from selling melons to the bazaar (very low markup). That means that you'd be better off farming potato/carrot/nwart which makes money 1.5x as fast as melon, selling that crop and then buying the armor 1.5x faster ;)
I would wait too, but idk how far it'll go down. Just cuz less ppl might need it, but I'd also bet less ppl will be farming :/, and it takes a TON of visitors to get them. Mushroom reforge stone definitely gonna drop tho
16:50 i have a pretty op wheat hoe a friend gave me and im currently at +16 wisdom and +24 ff from cultivating 8, do i still change to a potato/carrot hoe?
I get about 750 fortune in squash armor (bought before I saw this guide), use mythic maxed tools and am farming 36.5 - currently from my tests the most money per hour I make is about 7.5-8m per hour with carrot and potato. Is there much more to expect once I get my Fermento, farming 40, and other upgrades? Btw how much money per hour does wart make u rn?
Oh yeah, you can get lots more! Wart atm makes me about 12m/hr, and I'm not fully maxed yet. The more farming fortune u have, the more money you'll get
You say don't do contests until they have plots for it, but I disagree. As an ironman player, it is absolutely possible to get bronze in wheat, carrot, and cactus outside of garden. Wheat in hub, carrots in hub in the cave (nearly no one farms this area) can be quite good early (even though you arent getting garden milestone, especially for ironman contests early help a lot getting to the first hoe). For cactus I've gotten bronze by visiting prtlhub and just farming the desert lobbies, but this one is much less reliable
Dang, I couldn't get bronze in hubs when trying, but if it works, it works. Not as easy as in garden though, and if you don't get it, that's 20 mins "wasted" (yes u get money), so idk...
I'm planning to buy best set up at the moment I just need 3 more level to get fermento and should i buy a mythic set with mossy from the ah or craft it myself?
Depends on prices at the time you're doing it. 95% of the time, it's cheaper to craft ur own, but it rly depends on how many mossy sets are for sale (more ppl selling = more competition = lower prices)
U forgot that borrowing sores drop from mushrooms, making them better than nw on average if u get expected rng. Ik this from experience, I made 24m in one hour when I dropped 2 spores but I got awful rng with fermentos
Great video, best progressive guide I’ve seen out here! If you have just the list of steps from your script, could you perhaps share them? I want to make a checklist but don’t wanna rewatch the whole 30m video
Hey, I don't have a checklist yet, but that's something I can consider in the near future (maybe once the video hits 100k views hehe). I'd have to dig through and find my script too haha
U can maybe mention the deadalus axe with a decent chimera+ mushroom cow with green bandana is best for ff and for some crops, even the best tool(mushrooms cocoa and maybe vane but depends on the chimera on it)

95% of the time, it's cheaper to craft ur own, but it rly depends on how many mossy sets are for sale (more ppl selling = more competition = lower prices)
yo, awesome guide. always come back to it every few weeks to get up to speed. btw, what do i set the night saver to?
Evening! But I don't think it matters anymore cuz garden crops don't need light iirc
@@Thorpian got it, thanks dad
Awesome!
U forgot that borrowing sores drop from mushrooms, making them better than nw on average if u get expected rng. Ik this from experience, I made 24m in one hour when I dropped 2 spores but I got awful rng with fermentos
That's crazy lucky, burrowing spores is much much less common than that on avg
I was too lazy to make any other farm so i ended up only breakung wheat, I am now on lvl 47 farming from wheat.
Thank youuuu brooo🎉🎉🎉🎉
I am back to say I have ascended to elite farmer status
"very easy to get them all to level 10"
35 hours later and I just got that XD
stranded is hard
Great video, best progressive guide I’ve seen out here! If you have just the list of steps from your script, could you perhaps share them? I want to make a checklist but don’t wanna rewatch the whole 30m video
Hey, I don't have a checklist yet, but that's something I can consider in the near future (maybe once the video hits 100k views hehe). I'd have to dig through and find my script too haha
Great tutorial! I like
Thanks! I like that you like!
great guide, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Melondicer and Pumpkin dicer get a lil bit more ff for the rarity upgrade and reforge stone
Good point!
But thats not worth it at all if u play on a normal profile
U can maybe mention the deadalus axe with a decent chimera+ mushroom cow with green bandana is best for ff and for some crops, even the best tool(mushrooms cocoa and maybe vane but depends on the chimera on it)
What mod are you using to see all the items available and how to craft them / sell or buy price?
you forgot about FF for garden plots, that can cost about 50-100 mil per 3 FF
Its in there, but in passing/early on. And yeah, it's crazy expensive near the end
