- I am at Walt Disney World’s and Marriot’s newest resort hotel The Swan Reserve. Just across the street from the Swan and Dolphin hotels and the Disney Boardwalk. This hotel has a lot to offer including walkability to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. You can even get a theme park view room! I’m going to tel you all you need to know and show you every detail of the hotel, including of course, the room…with amazing view!

This video is how I first found you. We had a trip booked here and I was searching for a review. I sound like a broken record but I love how thorough your reviews are.
So, we stayed around March 21, 2022. Spring break. 2 couples no kids. What we loved? Not so many kids was a bonus for us this trip as we didn’t have ours with us. They are grown and this was a vacation for the mom and dads. We absolutely LOVED the restaurant Amare. Fantastic. Loved the outdoor pool bar lounge. We didn’t swim. Just sat and had a snack and some cocktails. Met some great travelers and cast members. The atmosphere and aesthetic is lovely. The beds were very comfortable. Loved the floor to ceiling windows. We had an Epcot view and I could see Spaceship Eart from my bed. The decor we loved but we love modern anyway.
Didn’t love? The location is great, but to be honest, I prefer the location of the Dolphin even better. I never did figure out the lights in the foyer 😆 because I had forgotten what you said. We were told we were given an accessible room. Looks like you got one too. There was ZERO bathroom counter space. I also hated the basket of towels on the floor I would have preferred a shelf. Our friends had a standard resort view room and their vanity did have a lower shelf for storage of bags, etc and a much larger vanity. It was so small, it was a problem actually.
Hot tip: in addition to the Bonvoy benefits you can use American Express points to stay here. It’s not cheap. I believe it’s like 50k points per night. I’m not sure. My dad gifted us the points for a two night stay as he uses an AmEx card for many business purchases to get those rewards. So basically, we stayed in 2 rooms for 2 nights for free. And, you still get the Bonvoy points added because you booked with AmEx points. Crazy, I know.
I swear, I think we had your room. I’m going to go back and look. 🤣.
We loved the restaurant enough that I would reserve it again even if not staying there. Book through Open Table. Not the Disney app.

Sweet hotel! Great to see it open after driving by construction for 2 years. Love the Outlet Sitch as always. USB-C and turn down service. Oh la la. I’m not worthy.

All I know is that I didn’t request a theme park room and I still had a view of epcot. It’s probably better on a higher floor

I was in charge of moving ion electrics materials to and from the resort I helped move all the lighting and electrical behind the scenes alot of sweat and hard work went into this project hope everyone enjoys

Wow... this was actually better than the Tim Tracker. Great Job. This is a nice hotel to splurge on. My wife and I always stay at the Dolphin resort when visiting Epcot or Disney. But that hotel looks like a great weekend getaway spot for me and the wifey. Her birthday is coming up. Oooh do you know if some of the rooms have Jacuzzi's in them?

Yes! But they are also Disney hotels! It’s different than good neighbor hotels!

Nope! 1:26 Bus transportation is provided to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs outside the main entrance.

We are going to Disney for Christmas. Trying to decide between the Dolphin, Swan & Swan Reserve. The Reserve looks really nice, but don't like that you have to walk a bit to the boats. We stayed at the Dolphin before and really loved it. Currently we are leaning towards Swan for the larger (Queen) beds. Which of the 3 would you choose? It will be my wife, son (12) & me. Thanks!
I mean it really depends. They are all good options. If you want a better room, then Swan Reserve, if you want a more quiet hotel the Swan, if you want more of big resort the Dolphin. It really depends on what your needs are!
Great video. It got a little confusing of where at the beginning (Swan/Dolphin/Swan Reserve). You may have been at the Swan Reserve the whole time but you mentioning the other locations a lot. My family has the Swan Reserve reservations later this month and I can’t wait! 😜

what were the reason you would not run to stay again? location?theme? style? food? got this booked for june with my husband adults only trip and hopeing it didnt make a mistake.
It’s a fine and dandy hotel but it’s the same price as the swan and dolphin so I would just stay there since you need their transportation for 2 parks and for the better pools
the plus side to the marriott is there are plenty of charging stations in the lobby for EVERYONE you don't have to bother anyone, the one I go to for my convention they have a counter right across from the starbucks, and even the table next to the chairs have outlets! it's outlet central! I use a USBC for my phone and it's really frustrating when i can't find a workable outlit to charge it so yes it's great to have a USBC outlet.

Having seen the cabanas, do you think it’s worth it to rent one?
It really depends on you and your budget. If that’s your whole day and you want a little extra luxury, then maybe go for it, or the regular chairs are totally great as well!
Hello, Could you tell me swan reserve or French quarter which one you like better?
They’re both so different and I love them for different reasons. It really depends on what you’re looking for in your visit. If you want more luxury and closer to parks then Swan Reserve, but if you want more Disney and you like beignets, jazz, a themed pool then French quarter.

If you don’t plan on walking to Epcot, it takes very long to get there by the boat. French Quarter may be better!
