I opened 2 of them to fill my AWQ PDs, JFKs, and Jefferson Nickels and Lincoln Shield Cents albums for myself and a friend, working at the local grocery store. It's a thank you gift for her generosity, supplying me with rolls of (pndqh).
FYI - It's not that hard to find the production report on the US Mint website, it's under the ABOUT tab. I've been keeping an eye on that page for a while now. I picked up a fistful of nickel rolls at the bank last week. Been searching nickels that way for decades now, in those rolls, saw lots of 23s but no 24s. *sigh*
I have ordered nickels from mid October to mid Nov. 2 boxes a week for 5 weeks hoping to get 2024's. Last week I got 2 BU boxes but the dates were 2022-P and 2023-P. The fed is just probably holding them back until they get rid of the others. If I get 2024's in the coming weeks. I will sell them on eBay very quickly. 32 million is not rare even by today's standard. They will come down a lot in price when the hoard is released just like anything else.This is something that you need to sell right away while the sun shines. I saw even higher prices then you stated here. I saw a lot of 10 -2024 nickel rolls sell for an unbelievable $996 and a single roll sell for $118 just last week. This is insane. A year from new you most likely will not be able to sell them for more then $4 per roll. Do not hoard them, sell them right away!

I love coin roll hunting for sure. Quarters halfs and dollar coins are my go to. There just easy to spend at face value when your done. Nickels you ether got to wrap or coinstar em. Nickels never disapoint im gonna see if I can score 2 monster boxs of nickels.
I haven't been to the bank because my job has been cutting my hours, but I'm going to check for those boxes at the bank they usually have a bunch boxes in stock! Haven't seen a single 2024 Cent, Nickel or Dime as of yet in the Richmond, VA area. I only have a handful of the quarters & bought two Kennedy Halves for my books at a recent coin show. Still waiting to find those that I've yet to see.
Hi Shaun is true but probable they are saving them to mint billions of the commemorative 2026 😮 I have found like 10 2024 nickels on customer bank rolls, not any single at bank rolls.
I snaged 3 boxes of 2024D nickels earlier this year and sold them all a 6.00 per roll and thought that was great.
