It's the price. I wish I could get a 3 roll set of each, but at $63 it's just not worth it- unless I like the design. That and I try to get the least minted designs each yr
Shaun thank you for this report/video. I'm holding off buying a penny box, because I'm waiting for the new coins to drop into circulation. Keep up the good work and also enjoy your reports/videos.
I buy many rolls of several denominations from the minute, regularly. I would have to say that I rarely find even one great album specimen per roll. I settle often just taking the best I can find, bag marks and all. This goes for all denominations. Half dollars usually have more of the better quality. But the American Innovations seem to take some of the worst beating. Especially the obverse because the huge flat fields make the marks very visible. So, buying rolls from the mint has not given me a large volume of high end uncirculated coins. As a matter of fact, if I am luck enough to get bank rolls of new issues, I have better luck of finding high quality clean uncirculated examples. Sometimes I think the mint is selling off rolls of the low quality coins on purpose.
I have a bag of P- OHIO quarters and they are in really good condition. Gotten through half slowly but surely. So I guess it may vary but I would've agreed with u before I got that bag lol
Does any one know if there is any minting difference between 2024 nickels in the uncirculated sealed mint set coins and uncirculated minted nickels from the bank ?
I just found a penny, new design, without a year marking. One side is large P encircled by words UNCIRCULATED * PHILADELPHIA *, and other side is a shield encircled by the words TREASURY * UNITED STATES MINT *
Love your vids!! Can you help? Have 1953A $2.00 bill-on reverse it does not have “In God We Trust” above Monticello ALSO have 1963A $2.00 bill, this has “In God We Trust” above Monticello plus on front(obverse), no “Will Pay To The Bearer On Demand” like on the 1953A. What do you think? Will Sell…🤗🤗💰

Wouldn't bags be better for errors though? Clipped plantchette, off center strikes?
