Aside from Davie, I watch you and one other UK tyer. Why the two of you? Because you tie flies for a very different pattern style than the other fellow and you are still small enough that you actually answer my questions. That may change over time as you grow larger....or your channel does! ..😁
You never fail to impress and I just find it easy to listen to you.
I'll not say the name of the other fellow, so he doesn't need a bigger hat!! 🤣

Thanks Kerry, I hope I will always be in a position to answer questions. It only takes a minute to reply to comments provided I know the answers of course 😉

One of the marmite patterns. Love or hate them. I use them both on smaller Stillwaters and larger lakes in the spring into the summer. Under overhanging bushes, trees and after rain near where fresh water runs into the lake. Grubs are often washed into the lake from both vegetation and from dead critters near to the feeder streams. Trout will target the easy meal. They also work when loch style fishing or under a bung. I use both the classic original and use them with different heads, red, yellow, green, pink even black or brown down to a #16 with half tied slim to cover buzzers with some with a pearl tinsel rear to cover phantom midge
