Very true Mr Taylor. True growth comes from getting out of our 'usual' circles and forging ahead into groups with bigger visions. In other words our comfort zone will limit us, so to speak. I think limiting beliefs are a huge factor. Thanks again.

Your videos are great, thanks for sharing your knowledge! One small suggestion - is it possible to make the music less loud? I personally find it hard to concentrate on the speech when music is so dominant in the video. Thank you

Andre, I have a question. I have a fairly interesting history [ work and travel ] and have some sparkly relatives [ aristocratic ] - however, I have been taught that name dropping and drawing attention to yourself is poor form. Also, I am married to a person is extremely private and is cautious. My business is a store presenting French and Italian fragrances, scented homewares, antiques, incenses and unique objects. I feel very self conscious about putting myself forward as a draw card and find the idea quite overwhelming. Thoughts?

What you are feeling is not unusual, and I would say finding the right balance between maintaining the right public positioning, profile, and posture, and discretion and privacy is an art. You certainly must move yourself forward to enjoy your potential in business and the enormous rewards that exist. There are many ways to do that without compromising what is important to you. That said, your assumptions must be examined. You will have to define specific steps in marketing, business development, and relationship building and weigh whether these steps are truly compromising or merely the thought, and embarrassment of them is at issue.
