@@sebastiantomczyk4577 wing span i usually pick based off of what I want to build. Usually though since I use foam board that are 29" wide I'll start there for smaller planes then two sheets is about 60" wide. I also build planes at 36 or 48" it's really just random. Whatever I want to build. But, the wing cord and shape for that wing will be based on what kind of flying I am doing with that plane. Or how much it may weigh. I'll build a wing with a constant cord for heavier or slower flying planes and then tapered cord for faster planes. I will also use wing area calculations to adjust the cord and wing width depending on how heavy the plane may be or if I want it to fly slower or faster. The tail i usually go with about 1/5th of the wing area for the tail area. Vtails I always put the V at 90° usually if my plane is longer I'll use a smaller tail or like this plane where the wing is much closer to the wing Ill run a larger tail. Closer to 1/4 the size. I hope that answers your question. Feel free to ask anything else. I also use a online wing loading calculator to help me decide on my wing size to help get me the wing loading I'm looking for in a design.
How do you calculate the wing dimensions? I mean wing span, width and the same for rear control surface? Thanks
