Bilge pumps!! Stern gland is the part that will leak the most! Under the engine is sectioned off to contain any leaking oil. The sides well one side would catch some of your Coolant before you pump it back into the canal from under the stern gland! Does that make sense?? 😂😂👍🏼
With the water pump you may have to see where most the water comes in ...mine is at the left side see my videos..good luck with the boat coming on nice ..love all your videos keep up the good work
My personal feeling about the pump is to fit it in the section beneath the stern gland, as that's where water will ingress the most. However if you do you would probably require a filter on the pump to take any grease out of the water before it goes back into the waterway. As a matter of interest is your calorifier battery's and webasto all going in the engine bay as well? Keep up the good work 👍
@@makinganarrowboatwithnannyandg so from that I assume you are going lead acid or lead carbon setup, as lithium needs to be in a more temp controled environment. I'm assuming you're having a solar install as well?
Thanks George. No mate the towers on our vlog are Ratcliffe on Soar Power Station. We've heard that these are being decommissioned in 5 years but if and when they get demolished we're not sure. If they do drop these we will be back to see that for sure.

Wait a minute. Are you near the Beery boater? If so I went past there. It's still hard painting the engine bay with the engine out. Another great job.
Next door but one mate. Yeah we're loving watching all your vlogs around this neck of the woods.
