I just rebuilt this in Survival mode and it makes me so happy! This home is simply cozy and beautiful, with a lot more storage space than you think at first look and very creative decoration ideas. Some things about making this in Survival: 1. Digging the first few layers while diving/swimming was a pain. Consider digging the inside 10x10x13 blocks first and only in the end breaking the wall to the water. 2. I didn't go through with collecting the heads for the deco, though they look awesome. 3. imagine ACTUALLY living in that house, sleeping there makes me anxious because of the reason i don't trust that glass can withstand the pressure of water there and if it breaks water goes in. i have a fright swimming in ocean. the unknown of creatures lurking and depth there, plus its cold
lol, this house is like 10m above water, you'll know every creature passing by, now the glass idon't rlly know, but i think it wouldn't be too much pressure
She used glass blocks. Not panes. One glass block in out world would be 1 metre thick. This key than any kind of bulletproof glass and strong as heck. Combine that with the fact it’s only 10m bellow the water means you will be absolutely safe in there.
Yeah, and also there is a limited amount of air in that little tank, i mean since there are many plants it will most likely last you overnight, but irl I would definitely add an air purifier thingy just to be sure.
Well to look at this in a realistic sense, the glass wouldn't actually be glass, but heavy duty pressure Plexiglass. This would be super sturdy and hold up against the water pressure plus any sea creatures beyond a whale (which would still have to hit it at a high rate of speed to penetrate). The biggest risk you face living there would be A: Higher risk of Asphyxiation and B: Structural collapse due to leaks. The real problem is just getting your utilities down there and would probably require a larger surface utility structure and a larger overall excavation, and then preventing leaks. For air you'd have to have a pump constantly running and pulling air down into the living area (along with any areas you'd have to access for maintenance purposes), you'd need a heavy duty waste system to pull your waste upwards into a surface based septic tank or public waste line, and water line hook up for fresh water. You'd also have to deal with constant heating and cooling, since a confined space underwater would lead to a pretty hard to achieve balance of being too hot or constantly cold (especially in a climate that experiences large seasonal changes). You'd also have to account for a much better access route than what you see in the video. You'd most likely want seaside access, so you'd need to build a boat dock, and then you'd want stairs for surface access. You could do an elevator as well but that's additional space you have to make for the elevator's engineering, plus something you have to maintain, along with the risk of it breaking down and getting stuck. Leaks would be a constant problem, especially with such a complex utility system. You'd have to find a way to work around that. So overall, you'd have to be filthy rich in order to live in a house like this. Which is actually more akin to an apartment. In Minecraft though, you don't have to worry about these things, but I get where you're coming from. Personally this apartment is too small for me. I'd probably have multiple rooms branching off (with windowed corridors connecting each room) so I could have a functional, yet aesthetically pleasing base.
Moment of silence for the people who tried to do this in survival Edit: ik you can do this with an underwater breathing potion I was a noob back then stop correcting me god this was 2 years ago

Hope you're alright
Kinda sexist you had to say it was a boy, a girl could do the same thing
@@ryan_69420 They meant that the usual build videos they watch are dudes who scream etc and that it's nice to watch someone who doesn't, regardless of their gender. They never said a girl couldn't do this.
Your video was my first underwater house that i like🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Me: tries to build this in minecraft

Came from insta and was wandering if you could build a water cabin with stilts or something great channel btw I'm gonna tell my friends
Same
That reminds me of Aunt Josephine's house from A Series of Unfortunate Events!
Can we just appreciate how she literally put ALL the info in the description like what a boss.
You.. Just.. Break my eyes with youre build is too aesthetic and soo comfy 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
imagine ACTUALLY living in that house, sleeping there makes me anxious because of the reason i don't trust that glass can withstand the pressure of water there and if it breaks water goes in. i have a fright swimming in ocean. the unknown of creatures lurking and depth there, plus its cold
lol, this house is like 10m above water, you'll know every creature passing by, now the glass idon't rlly know, but i think it wouldn't be too much pressure

The creativity y’all have is astounding. I never would’ve come up with this shit
