That happened to me too and it was because I had the switch laying in the dock and not standing upright, if you have the dock laying down right now just put it upright so gravity pushes the switch in the dock, it seems like a very small change but it worked for me so just try it I guess.

As one of the creators of this 200cc Lounge and someone who used to frequently play this mode, seeing it grow to the calibur to have you try it out is awesome! Great to see more people try out this underrated competitive mode. A huge tip I have is to utilize smart steerting more, as a lot of competitive players will quickly throw it on at the end of their bullet bills if they are being thrown in an awkward spot, and also if they want to use shrooms around extremely sharp turns (like the S turns on Neo Bowser City). Overall though you played pretty well and showed a lot of potential honestly. Thanks for trying out our lounge! :)
@@MD.1111 Smart steering is an overall large detriment to keep on in competitive lobbies so ofc it's allowed. It keeps you on the road, which every competitive 200 player can do without it, and limits your mt and ability to take niscs. It's a handicap when you start out but against good players it's only restrictive (besides quick toggles on/off) Good comparison is imagine using training wheels in a cycling competition lol, I assume it's allowed because at that level it provides no advantage, only harm.

A little tip if the curves are too tight for a drift, you can press B while drifting to brake a bit in the drift, but make sure you don't press B for too long, otherwise your drift will be interrupted, but you can briefly press B several times in a drift Press
I actually like and prefer when you get quiet and focus because it helps me in a weird way focus with you. I prefer watching no commentary’s because I get a little annoyed when someone just talks and non-stop. So I like and appreciate that you are okay with just saying “I’ll be quiet because I need to focus”

@@tufab3494 Yeah, it looks like the player fell of the bridge, respawned hitting the wall, disappeared into last place statically, and then teleported to first. Maybe he lagged out and the game thought he drove off, it respawned him and where he should have been for a fall off, and then when he reconnected it corrected to his offline position?

I'm pretty sure you can tell if a communication error will happen if the Item boxes rolls are slower than usual, I'd say 50% of times where my items are slower than usual i get a communication error
As someone who dabbled a bit in 200cc lounge, I can safely say it’s probably the most brutal thing about this game (probably because I get pitted against literal WR holders half the time). You did amazing for the first time (although it’s probably due to those shock dodges that allowed you to score well).
You didnt do bad at all. You are just the best of the best for MKWii specifically but MK8 is just different from all the time and years you put in to MKWii.
