Am in India and will tell you NZ will be bowled out in the first session , their scoring rate will decide this match... India will bowl minimum 27-32 overs , they have to score at 4 without worrying about the wickets... Even if they get bowled out in 15 overs at that rate they will set a target of 370 which I think will be a winning target .....
@@harishg1507 GP actually bats well with tail. From NZ's perspective, hope he doesn't get out too early. Ideally good, if none gets out soon. But I would trade Blundell or santner for GP's wicket ,(if i get to pick)to watch him bat with tail and turn on beast mode
Ideally NZ should just try to apply themselves and bat out the entire day tomorrow. Lead by 450, basically bat India out of the game. They have 5 wickets left but realistically, only Santner can bat semi-reliably out of the guys still to come. Looking at that, Blundell and Phillips need to bat sensibly. By the time day 4 rolls around, they pitch would likely be not good enough to bat to win OR draw (there is no draw anyway, with three days left). This is the best shot NZ has gotten to win a series in India in decades and probably will for quite a few years to come. Phillips, Blundell, and Santner needs to understand that. In low scoring matches, it is batsmen that need to carry their weight, and so Conway edging the ball and still walking out to a LBW decision is stupid enough as it stands. NZ have to take this as it is: a chance for their greatest test series win in years, maybe a decade; against one of the most dominant home teams while missing their key batsman.
When an ordinary spinner like subdar got 7 wkts, india should have been worried. And that ie exactly what happened! Santner is the most underrated bowler in the world! He would have 700 wkts by now had he played on rank turners like ashwin did all his life. I hope india learn from this and will stop making rank turners for ashwin.
It's still 50:50 in this match.... india can chase anything u to 375 if they apply themselves....that pitch is not a minefield by any stretch.... India only has to negate santner.... Ajaz Patel is the trump card for india..... he's gonna be bullied tmrw by Jaiswal & Rohit
