You are amazing and you helped me save three puppies. My sister called and said her dog had puppies outside and they were freezing cold. I live down the street so I jumped in my car and went down to help her. I remembered you putting the cold lambs into a water bath to help warm them. We don't have the long gloves but I took a bowl of warm water and covered it with a Ziploc bag. I put the babies in making sure little noses were uncovered. Within 15 minutes they were warm and ready for mom. Thank you so much for all you do because it counts and helps with others animals.
You are now a proud graduate of the Sandi Brock School of Sheep Midwifery!! Congratulations on your first successful field project!! Very happy for you and the pups -- truly!!
Sandi, YOU ARE a Mother, wife, farmer, doctor, scientist, researcher, film maker, and best of all a beautiful soul! Thank you for inviting us all along for the journey!
I'm not sure why RUclips thought I needed to see ewes birthing lambs but they were right...I watched the entire video. Fascinating! Sandi's level of knowledge and expertise can only come from tons and tons of experience.
The last summer of my mom’s life, I took her from the suburbs of Chicago to the Wisconsin sheep and wool festival. We watched the sheep dog trials, looked at all the gorgeous fibers, and the different breeds being judged; but our favorite part was the lambing barn. My then-88-year-old mom was born and raised on a Vermont farm. Being in the lambing barn all those years later brought her right back to her childhood. Watching the joy and wonder in her eyes as she watched those ewes lambing is a memory I will carry with me for the rest of my days. Getting to the end of this episode has me a little teary-eyed as I fondly remember that precious day with my mom. Thank you. ❤
After years of nursing human babies, I weirdly feel sympathy relief every time you bring out that pump, lol. If the sheep could talk, they would definitely say thanks. :D
Do you know what’s really beautiful Sandi? I watch a few Nigerian dwarf goat channels and they’ve all learned from you. When kids are born and they’re too cold, the farmers have learned to warm them in warm boxes before trying to feed them. I mentioned you in the comments on innskeep acres recently and Leslie, the breeder said., ‘I love Sandi Brocks channel! That’s where I learned about temps and things.’ ❤ Isn’t that wonderful! Not only are you helping the sheep farmers but goat farmers too. You’re wonderful Sandi, such an incredible woman, farmer and soul. Love you to bits! 🙏🏻🌻🌻🌻
She’s very informative, but warming newborns with low temps is standard practice on most farms, large or small. It’s a tried & true method that’s been around forever now.
i agree!! I learned that a lamb (or kid too) should drink when they are above 37 or 38 degrees Celsuis and I never knew that. (weve lost a few kids due to the cold and my dad just feeds them to get something in their belly.) next time im going to warm them up AND take their temp THEN feed them.
I'm sorry you had so many losses. That baby lamb calling for you was so cute. Watching your videos helped me when my cat went into labor last week. I know they are completely different animals but it still helped me. I've never helped a cat give birth and my cat was so exhausted she would just lay down after pushing kitten out so my husband and I took turns opening the sacs, cutting umbilical cord and drying off the kittens.
@@nerowolfga8543 it's funny cause she LOVES my husband. She's obsessed with him. But when she went into labor he wasn't home from work yet and I noticed her trying to find a place to give birth so I put her in a huge box we bought for birthing with blankets and towels. And it was really a bonding moment for us as she meowed at me to pet her and love on her.
i also helped one of my cats through birth back in april '21 i think, and while most of that litter didnt make it past the first year, two of them did, and my cat Roman is so so sweet since she's been being handled since birth. (the mama was also very sweet, though we werent as involved with her litter as we were with Roman's)
@@comicallylargerodent yeah my cats were born outside and they were way too wild for my liking when my husband first brought them in. So I'm hoping these kittens are more calm since I do handle them. Unfortunately it was her first litter so one was born stillborn and one passed a couple days after being born. It was the runt and it was the last one born but the first one on the nipple so I know it was eating.
We all KNOW WHO THE FATHER IS! Tee hee 😂! What about that cute, hot-pink nose? The very unique markings didn't belong to just this lamb, either. Wow! Cutie pies everywhere!
When those two eves walked away from you, they were saying "Well, call us stealers. Let's see what the other girls are doing this morning". Sandi, I love watching your lambing. It is so great that you almost post every day. It brings me happiness. Thank you.
You are doing an amazing job with your sheep, Sandi ❤ it’s stressful and frustrating what’s happening but it’s not from your lack of care, hard work, or compassion!
I'll be really interested to see what Rex has to say about the mummified lambs. That's really strange to have so many. You're doing an amazing job keeping the live ones alive and on moms though! I bet this lambing season will be a real workout. 💪 You've got this Sandi and we've got you!
Farmers are one of the unsung heroes of society and seldom get the appreciation they deserve. Thank you for sharing your beautiful, hectic, busy world and God bless! 😊♥️
Omg I needed this so much right now. My grandpas been in the hospital for 3 weeks now with heart problems accumulating and popping up over and over. Every time he gets a surgery and fix something another thing pops up. Ive been so scared and stressed for his life, but when ever I watch your videos I feel a sense of hope and happiness wash over me. I’ve gotten to talk to him so much recently and because he lives so far away it’s hard. But I tell him and show him your videos and he has a whole new look on farming sheep. He loves that lambs and your work. Thank you Sandi for making these videos and brightening up our days. You’ve made this time so much easier to go through and with all this happiness I feel he’ll come out on top. So thank you so much. 🥹😊
Shai, I am glad you have this time with him now. Humans don't have an expiration date but we also don't go on forever. You being there means so much for both of you. @Shai I know this probably doesn’t mean a lot coming from a stranger on the internet, and it comes off trite and untrue a lot of the time - but I am sending love and prayers for both you and your grandfather. Prayers for your grandfather to get well and prayers for you to be able to handle it well if he doesn’t. My grandmother was a second mother to me, and I was closer to her than any other person on this earth and I was devastated when I lost her. It’s been almost 25 years, and I still miss her daily. I am so, so glad that the two of you are bonding and getting core memories over Sandi’s videos. 💖💖💖
I’m sorry you and your family are going through that with your grandpa. I’ve been going through it with my Dad for the past 3 weeks so I can really relate to what you are feeling. I’m sending prayers your way!
We brought my mom home on hospice a month ago. Needless to say, it's been very stressful. Your videos are a bright spot in my day and a soothing balm for my soul. Thank you Sandi.
I am sorry for your pain. When I watched my mom go through through a similar thing for my father, it was extremely difficult. It was exhausting and difficult for her, but later she was very happy she was able to provide that care for the one she loves. I know you may not be able to handle everything right now, it's too much, but try to hold on and do what you can to eliminate any regrets you will have later- for example, my mom was exhausted, but she took dad to the botanical gardens in a wheelchair because he liked the flowers. Please reach out to whatever friends, mom's friends, etc. you can for help. Most people like being able to help, even in impossible situations with no perfect outcomes. Baby lambs are so freaking adorable. So sorry you lost so many in this video. It must be a heartbreaking job when that happens. It's sweet how we as women suddenly change our voices when we are around babies of any kind. Be it humans or the 4 legged kind. We just go all cutesy . You can see how much you care about your sheep and their little lamb's. Your videos always make me smile. 😊😊
I agree there's a total voice change, I have to say it makes me melt when a man does it too. One of my favorite things to see is a big strong man getting surprised by a new puppy and them cradling the tiny thing like its made of the most precious glass. You can see them try so hard to keep up that tough guy persona but they just can't help but melt when they get that wiggley little fur ball in their arms.
It’s MOTHERS DAY here in England 🇬🇧 uk and what a great way to spend my day watching a marvellous mum, wife and farmer xx love to all the mum in the uk have a wonderful Mother’s Day xx
Heartbreaking to hear Mama talking to the baby that already passed 💔 She's trying to get a response and doesn't understand yet.💔 18:20 You're awesome, so glad you could help her foster!
I find it funny how the rubbery dead lamb was RUclips approved but not the fluid lol. This reminds me of the pig barn growing up when I helped the momma's Farrow.
I love watching the protection the mommas give there babies...noticed when kensie came up on a bunk to say hi to momma ewe the momma was stomping her front hoof as to say not now kens. Good momma! Although a busy start there are some gorgeous lambs in this group! Congrats Momma's can't wait to see more! A wonderful way to get my day started! Thank you so much!!

What an amazing midwife you are, Sandi! patiently waiting for a contraction to assist with a gentle tug! Love, love, love how you talk to the labouring ewes & the miraculous babies!! 💕💕
The bizarre thing about the censoring is that they showed the disgusting black “rubber lamb” in living color, but blurred out the normal birth fluids. 🤦♀️
Nothing brightens my day more than seeing you’ve released a new video. You are doing an amazing job amongst all the lambing chaos! I love to see how much your flock trust you to help them! ❤
Sandi we had a small scare last night after foaling and it turns out there was a twin. The vet at last check confirmed her not in foal. It could have went sour but the filly and mom are doing great this morning. You are a wonderful shepard for the sheep and your family.
Good grief you had your hands full there for a bit with those 3 moms! So glad you could figure out where to put them all! You are amazing Sandi! Been watching you for years! Little Billy is sooo cute! And I have to say, it’s hilarious how your coveralls show your cheeks! 😂
So sad for the losses of those precious babies 💔 the rubbery one was extra sad 😔 I'm glad most were healthy though! I'm a brand new watcher ❤ look forward to seeing more. I LOVE sheep and lambs 💕
Wonderful explosion of lambs, lambs, lambs! Curious about what the necropsies will reveal re mummified lambs (& so sorry) Love the wee sweaters, Joseph's coats of many colours! 💕💕
Sandi! No wonder last week was a tough week for you- you have to be exhausted! That doesn't help with emotional health! Honestly, you amaze me: all you do and you give each lamb all the attention you can. Superwoman for sure!❤
Wow, a hard, busy time at lambing for you. Must be so hard with the many still born, or badly developed ones. Seems so smart switching extras from other sheep with several lambs, keeping the mums both happy, one having a lamb to care for and feed, the other with lowered demands bybreduced number to feed. Then the mums lacking milk, their lambs finding adoptive mums with enough milk. What a hectic time each lambing time.😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your door opening moments. Something about that is so reassuring, that everything is going to be okay and the routine of life will go on. ❤

Thank you for a beautiful video. You are a hard working lambing nurse. Those Mama's and babies are so lucky to have you taking such amazing care of them all. Xo
Your new little Billy is adorable. I hope your vet can figure out why the lambs were mummified. It's so pleasing to see a mom that lost her lambs be able to help a mom that had more than she can handle. Thank you for sharing your lambing with us.
I'm sorry you have to deal with RUclips restricting something that has the potential of helping fellow Shepards know how everything should look and how you should handle situations. I love your videos and have learned so much and have improved as a Shepard because of your videos.
Sandi ! Sandi ! Sandi ! Thank you so much for sharing all of lambing with us ! Even if RUclips didn't approve it all silly !!! I appreciate you!!! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!!

Sandi we had a small scare last night after foaling and it turns out there was a twin. The vet at last check confirmed her not in foal. It could have went sour but the filly and mom are doing great this morning. You are a wonderful shepard for the sheep and your family.
Hello! Have a blessed day, one & all! Love Sandi & all of her work!
The sight of your dog constantly checking on the situation in the background is just the funniest.
Sandi, thank you for these videos even when we know you're exhausted with lambing!
I love all the dogs watching and getting involved with everything. My favourite part was the little white tipped tail bobbing along up the path
Little billy is adorable...😢😢😢 and the little screamin lamb is a personality..screams for food they got my vote 😅😂
Mummified lambs ?! What causes that?
Oh my goodness, that black and white baby with the pink nose❤
What a great way to start my Sunday! Thank you Sandi!!!
Wow. I've never seen the mummified lamb situation before. That's wild. Also, Your gate/pen system is great! 🐑 🧡
Good grief you had your hands full there for a bit with those 3 moms! So glad you could figure out where to put them all! You are amazing Sandi! Been watching you for years! Little Billy is sooo cute! And I have to say, it’s hilarious how your coveralls show your cheeks! 😂
So sad for the losses of those precious babies 💔 the rubbery one was extra sad 😔
I'm glad most were healthy though! I'm a brand new watcher ❤ look forward to seeing more. I LOVE sheep and lambs 💕
So sorry about the lambs lost.
You are doing an amazing job.
That little one that looks like Billy is adorable. Best of luck this season😊
Sandi, you have taught all of us how to get your grit up and never say die. You taught us to value life, honor death. Endure heartaches. Love you.
Wonderful explosion of lambs, lambs, lambs! Curious about what the necropsies will reveal re mummified lambs (& so sorry) Love the wee sweaters, Joseph's coats of many colours! 💕💕
These foster moms are worth their weight in gold! Babies are the cutest!
The lamb sweaters are so precious! 😍 You rock, Sandi! Your sheep seem to know they're in very capable, loving hands. ❤️
Omg, was that little baby lambs in little wollen knitted sweaters!! 😂😍
I'm not sure how your page came to me but it's fascinating and a joy to watch. Thank for sharing your passion with us.
I love watching their little tails wagging a 100 mph when they're eating :)
Sandi! No wonder last week was a tough week for you- you have to be exhausted! That doesn't help with emotional health! Honestly, you amaze me: all you do and you give each lamb all the attention you can. Superwoman for sure!❤
Oh my...the black goat looking sheepie is way too cute!!
❤ sending a virtual hug because this was rough ❤
Wow, a hard, busy time at lambing for you.
Must be so hard with the many still born, or badly developed ones. Seems so smart switching extras from other sheep with several lambs, keeping the mums both happy, one having a lamb to care for and feed, the other with lowered demands bybreduced number to feed.
Then the mums lacking milk, their lambs finding adoptive mums with enough milk.
What a hectic time each lambing time.😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
I LOVED that protective mama! Something very heartwarming about that! ❤
We are taught in nursing school to never say “Im just a nurse”. And you lady are far more than just anything. God bless you.
Oh Sandi I am so sorry. 😢 You have had it so rough this season
That little Billy looks like he's got sunglasses on. Too cute.😂❤ they all have made the. Cutest babies. Just love seeing new life on your farm.
Thank you for your door opening moments. Something about that is so reassuring, that everything is going to be okay and the routine of life will go on. ❤
You have no idea how much joy you bring to your viewers. I laugh, love, cry and worry with you. I love all of your mommas, babies and your family. You are such a great person for us to look up to.

The sheep sniffing Sandi hat at 15:25 😂
You are so on top of this, I love how you welcome the babies you help into this world. ❤
Thankyou for sharing these videos. I can't believe RUclips is editing nature now.
You are a "wonder woman". You are my inspiration to keep pushing myself to do new things. Thank you for posting.
Those two Ewes butting heads at the end had me going "stop fighting, you're twins!" just because they looked so alike lol
I love watching the moms actions towards their babies. It brings me such peace.😊
I love how the dog is 100% alert and aware of every single thing that takes place in there
You’re doing a great job Sandi! I hope the vet finds out why there were so many mummified lambs. Look forward to the next video.

Looking at the pregnant sheep from the back is bringing me to tears omg
Sandie you are such an amazing person with your animals, especially when things seem to be going sideways
Your new little Billy is adorable. I hope your vet can figure out why the lambs were mummified. It's so pleasing to see a mom that lost her lambs be able to help a mom that had more than she can handle. Thank you for sharing your lambing with us.
The smile on my face when a new video pops up 🤗
I'm sorry you have to deal with RUclips restricting something that has the potential of helping fellow Shepards know how everything should look and how you should handle situations. I love your videos and have learned so much and have improved as a Shepard because of your videos.
How you keep all the mommas and babies straight is amazing. You do a fantastic job each and every day.
