My art business has failed... Saying goodbye to Teacup Girl

Hi there and hello,
It's been a while since I last posted, and as you can guess by the title of the video, things have... not been going well....
Honestly, it's taken me a long time to get to the point where I can actually talk about how my business just vanished from underneath me. I've been feeling a lot of emotions about loosing my job as an artist, and I've found it difficult to think about, let alone find the words to explain.
For the sake of the video, I've tried to keep the explanations short as it really was dragging on when I tried to fit in everything, but if anyone wants me to sit down and do a part two explaining what I think things went wrong, I think I'm finally at the point where I might actually be able to do that. So let me know.
As I said {probably way too many times} in the video, but I do hope to come back and create acrylic art again for Teacup Girl in the future.
It may look different, I might have to widen to scope of my art-making and venture out into new creative avenues. I just don’t know yet what the future holds.
But until it is the right time for me to come back, I have to say goodbye… I’ll miss sharing this creative journey with you 💔

For everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. (Eccelsiastes) Don't be discouraged, and don't beat yourself up over the business. You can always start again later on when the time is right. Congratulations on your baby! Enjoy this time with your children without guilt or remorse.

Seasonal changes are so necessary for growth as well, so I’m hoping that as the season turns I will be able to find another space to share my work in ~ even if it’s Teacup Girl re-imagined! 💖

Wow you have a lot going on. Some of your pieces are my fav pieces. Congratulations on your new baby. You need to look after yourself. You can always come back at a later date to Tea Cup Girl. Big hug as life can be so overwhelming. I will be a forever Tea Cup Girl fan ❤

Thank you for the kind thoughts. I am definitely feeling a lot of the overwhelm right now, but I am doing my best to adjust as who knows what the future holds...! I am hoping there will be room for making brooches again. ❤
