Are you saying that is not a garden tool but an ice chipper? I thought it was a garden tool but if I’m wrong, I’d like to know before I make the video.
It's probably been 25 years since I went to Shipshewana. Great flea market to go to and we went to a Amish restaurant, I can't remember the name of it now, but I do remember how good it was.
My Cousin's boys used to go there on the weekends sometimes when they were in High School, they would help vendors set up and help load stuff that people bought. They would make quite a bit of money doing that, always came back with pockets full of cash.

I always enjoy your field trips! Hopefully you can straighten the little garden tool, because as you most likely know, cast is usually very brittle. Those wire stripper are also very interesting. Thanks again and see you soon.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate you coming along for the trip. Yes, I’m going to have to be careful when straightening those prongs. I look forward to your next visit. Have a great week.
My first wire strippers when I was young used the same mechanism as the ones you picked up. They worked well. I seem to recall them having like plastic dipped handles though?
This is good to know. I’m glad you’re sharing this with us. I’ll try to look it up and see if I can find an original and then decide how I want to clean it up. Thanks for your visit and have a great week.
