I went to BYU with Jimmer, still have his BYU jersey, etc. so i'm a huge fan. He had games like this in college where he scored 40 or 50 points, but he also had off nights. He needs to be just a little more consistent and a little better on defense to be a solid backup PG, maybe more. He needs to make up on offense what he lacks on defense, and at this level there are so many good players around him to take his minutes. It is all about confidence with him and I expect that he will continue to get a little better with each month

Some people need to understand that this is an NBA level player. Even still. There are many players out there that are NBA level but can’t find the success because of certain circumstances. His being that he was never given that real opportunity. Some players come in and are impactful from the get go and some need time. Steve Nash was one of those players. It really sucks that Jimmer wasn’t able to find success in the NBA but there’s no doubt he’s at that level. And he still played professionally, so that’s an easy win for him.

Fredette is nice but his problem is that he's the wrong kinda combo guard. He's too small to be a shooting guard and can't pass + facilitate the offense well enough to be a scoring point guard. Fredette can score but that's where the good news ends.

I think they showed in this game that having Fredette as a SG works pretty well. The only issue would be teams picking on him on defense, but rarely do teams get away from their game plans to attack mismatches all night. Coaches have said that they'd rather not do that unless their offense runs through that guy in the first place. So unless the Kings face a team with a SG as their number 1 or 2 guy. His defense won't be exploited.

Huge Kings fan & here's why I think Jimmer has struggled on the Kings thus far:
    1. Too timid & unselfish (needs to take jump-shots as soon as a little bit of space is created. Not sure if coach and teammates are encouraging him enough)
    2. Teammates need to set more screens at the top of the key for more pick & roll or pop opportunities (he's an underrated passer who sees the floor very well)
    3. Very limited minutes (coach Malone needs to let the kid learn from mistakes during games just like he doesn't have a short leash on McLemore. Coach Smart had a very short leash on Jimmer his 1st and 2nd years.)
And of course defense, but if Nash used to stay on the floor for 40 minutes a night why not Jimmer?
Overall just let the kid play. We haven't had nothing to lose since 2006 with 8 straight losing seasons. Jimmer's long 3s and shooting streaks bring excitement to an arena. Look at what that's done for Golden State and Stephen Curry. Jimmer will only get better & more confident with more playing time.

this is what happens when they actually give him the ball, when he plays alongside isaiah its practically the only time someone tries to find him, i watched every game, that was the case, most of his teammates didn't respect him as an offensive threat.

Freaking finally! The couch gave him more than 5 minutes to play and show his poteintial. I don't get it why can't just they give him some more credit. We can't even say in fact if this guy's a brick or not due to his time on the court. Fredette, don't let me down!
