I don't know about anywhere close to top 10. He has good lift and gets into his shot quick but he is not very fast at all. To be consistent, he would need to be able to drive and create for others, considering his height and defensive limitations.
this guy deserves to be a starter. he is one of the most unstoppable shooters wtf this is nonsense. the knicks should trade for him and let him start. jimsanity.
I went to BYU with Jimmer, still have his BYU jersey, etc. so i'm a huge fan. He had games like this in college where he scored 40 or 50 points, but he also had off nights. He needs to be just a little more consistent and a little better on defense to be a solid backup PG, maybe more. He needs to make up on offense what he lacks on defense, and at this level there are so many good players around him to take his minutes. It is all about confidence with him and I expect that he will continue to get a little better with each month
Play him more, he will score more....duh. Put him on a team that positions their play around getting him shots. No different than any of the other big scoring and shooting talent out there. He has the perfect long range shot, he has the perfect touch. Just amazing....amazing talent...amazing person. The NBA is lucky to have a player like him, who can bring excitement to a game.
I watched Jimmer played in Asia. His probably the best player i've seen irl. Just hands down pure scorer with unlimited shooting range. He's a poor mans stephen curry, Only think hindering him is his lack of height, defense and subpar athleticism is holding him back having a consistent spot on the NBA level.
Im personally happy for jimmer. I feel like the only reason he hasnt been playing well before was because he was getting no minutes and they didnt give him a chance. It really sucks that Jimmer wasn’t able to find success in the NBA but there’s no doubt he’s at that level. And he still played professionally, so that’s an easy win for him.

Fredette is nice but his problem is that he's the wrong kinda combo guard. He's too small to be a shooting guard and can't pass + facilitate the offense well enough to be a scoring point guard. Fredette can score but that's where the good news ends.
I think they showed in this game that having Fredette as a SG works pretty well. The only issue would be teams picking on him on defense, but rarely do teams get away from their game plans to attack mismatches all night.
