Those frames for the perforated paper are lovely. Stretcher bars would also work though not nearly as pretty. Glad your doggie is doing well with physio. They're both so cute. Great finishes and beautiful stitching! Thank you for sharing. Another thing you can do for a frame while using perforated paper - needlepoint stretcher bars and tacks- I’m a needle pointer and a cross stitcher and the needlepoint stretcher bars work well with the paper and I can use my stand and just clamp them in. Very reasonable priced and comes on so many different sizes. Happy new year!

So sorry to hear that you're still having health issues. I, too, have had some, including trouble with my lumbar spine and a bit of a heart issue. But I continue to stitch to get my mind distracted.

I LOVE the nativity design you are stitching, it's so special! Annabella's is started with the 3rd week of every month to be a week to work on a Christmas piece, so I am joining in on that, I may get the nativity scene this year for that.

I’m not going to the retreat as was full when I heard of it, but my daughter gave me a week at MB after my knee replacement and will be there that week!

All the PTP colours are different. Birds Eye View looked like a sky on the site I ordered from with mostly blues and what I got was orange and yellow. I also ordered a yard. I will do some Halloween pieces but I was disappointed also.

Hmm I could stitch all the countries I have lived in.. oh man no, not mur surgery, I am so sorry you have so many issues and surgeries. Oh lord spinal as well, that’s what I am nervous of.mine is neck a neuropathy in legs. I have a fwd lean and poor posture but herniated degenerating disc disease. Hope all goes super well.loved your stash!

I love your idea of doing 24 ornaments/ smalls for 2024. I might have to try for that too if you don’t mind. That is a great idea. I hear you about the spinal surgery. That is definitely scary but you are one tough girl and I know you are going to get through it well and be so much better for it. You are such a sweet friend. I love watching your flosstubes. I can’t wait to see your Big Bang Theory afghan. I bet it will be gorgeous. We have been getting a lot of snow lately so we have hunkered down snuggled up with a blanket and of course cross stitch and Lila our GSD sweetie. You always brighten my day💖💖

I also started the Santa Postage Stamp, but I decided to use different fabric. We’ll see if I chose wisely. 🙏 I hope you enjoy your time at the retreat in Myrtle Beach! I must say - the postage stamp Santa pattern has been my unicorn pattern as well! The cheapest I could find it was for $160… And that is just not doable for me! ☹️Looking forward to seeing your finish on this! Keep doing what you do, love watching you!

I was surprised to hear another stitcher mentioning a hunt for tickets for the last concert of a tour, that was such a pleasant discovery. I am a Depeche Mode fan and I was looking for tickets for Koln this April because that will be their last concert of this tour, glad to hear that some other stitchers can understand this need and the special feeling.

I hope your hand troubles heal soon. The red fabric is just gorgeous; a beautiful red. PTP fabric colors are so unreliable, especially if you compare older dyes to now. If I think I want a piece, I order the smallest size. If I like it when it comes, I'll reorder in the size I need. There are so many fabric dyers now that the choices are great and their fabrics are more reliable. I do love PTP, but I'm cautious in buying a large piece. Love your plans for this year. Have a great stitching time. ❤

Hi Stacy, Happy New Year. I was wondering about your hand problem. Do you stitch in hand? Maybe stitching using a frame and stand would help? I can't stitch in hand or holding a hoop as my hands go stiff and numb.
