I too have mobility issues so I use a scooter for Disneyland. My daughter, granddaughter and I just got back and had a WONDERFUL time there. The scooter makes all the difference and I can keep up with everybody. Take care, Sally in Northern California 😁

Thank you for showing us all of your beautiful stitching and your display behind you looks great and fun! The pattern of ANZAK from Long Dog - the bird with the frog in his beak is called a Magpie Native to Australia which is black and white in colour.
Your stitching is all so beautiful, Stacy. Your finished witch is so cute, love the spooky house fabric Vonna chose. I like that idea of a blessing sampler to the start the new year. Every time you show the Anzac sampler it makes me think I should get it. It looks great, love the fabric too, and is just so whimsical. I love Barefoot Needleart - great place and super customer service. They are my LNS even though they are 900 miles away but there shop is a must stop on our annual vacation to Myrtle Beach. I like to stitch Halloween all year too.

i love how you stitch with the variegated red DMC 115. i wish i had known this when i stitched a BIG chart with it. i'm almost embarrassed to tell you that i separated an entire skein into its 6 strands, winding each strand on its own bobbin so i would get a perfect flow of colors. now i see that wasn't necessary! doh!
i meant to comment on your london edition! we went in 2018 and loved it! we went to the Victoria & Albert Museum and spent all day and there's still so much to see. we stayed at a flat in hampstead and have our own favorite pub - the Flask. i loved seeing Hyde Park, the Thames River and the Tower of London - i'm a big fan of history and historical fiction and all those places play a huge role in history, i was brought to tears and had to pinch myself i couldn't believe i was really there! anyway, i could go on and on! we're returning in 2024, did you find any local needlework shops in london? take care, terri

Haven't watched more than a few seconds yet -- but long enough to notice your "Quaker du Japon" on your wall. I did this piece for my son for Xmas 2022 -- put in a simple black frame (no glass). He was delighted! (This year I'm doing "Here Be Dragons" from Modern Folk Embroidery. I suspect I have another winner there!) 😊

Great video!! Your FFO from Vonna is so adorable! Her placement of the Halloween fabric on the back is perfection!! I keep meaning to tell you, and I keep forgetting, do you remember the Christmas tree with the two little children that someone gave you? We here in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York do not have cross stitch shops either. I think we only have one small quilt/yarn shop here.

I feel your pain…one year we lost 7 people between the Thanksgiving and Christmas. I don’t ever want to do that again! We lost our German Shepard Benelli. 😢I’m making a quilt out of the fabric on your Oct 31 witch! Oh! I just love it. ❤

May I ask you a couple of questions? Do you like your Potoky stand? If so, which one did you buy? Also do you have any tips for stitching on black fabric - thank you for your videos
I LOVE my Potoky stand. I bought the “Stand for Cross Stitch Mini”. It has the rectangular shape bottom, not the boxy square one. It’s listed on the Potoky website for $177.00. I did add on my own skid proof tape underneath and use a towel in my lap so it doesn’t slide. I love it so much, I bought a 2nd one. As far as stitching on black, some say they lay a white towel in their lap under their project to see the holes better. You can also use the “light” feature on an IPad or in my case, I bought a cheap light pad on Amazon. I can set in my lap when I stitch and I also use it to trace punch needle patterns into the cloth.
