    Hello po. What statistical treatment would you apply to determine the degree of association between spelling and reading ability? Here's the situation:
    To investigate the relationship between spelling and reading ability, a researcher gives a spelling and reading ability examination to a group of 50 students who have been selected at random from a large population of senior high school students.

    Hi po! Is one way anova applicable in my sop 3 po?
    Here is my sop po
    1. What are the characteristic of the students
    in terms of:
    a. Sex
    b. Grade level
    c. Track
    d. Number of hours spent on gameplays
    e. Type of games played
    2. What is the perceived effect of mobile games to the academic performance of students in General Pantaleon Garcia Senior High School? (5 point likert scale?
    3. Is there a significant difference between the students perception based on their characteristics?

      SOP3
      Are you going to group them by
      Gender (male & female)? Then compare? - if yes, use t test
      For grade level are you also going to group them and compare? - if there are more than 2 grade levels- use ANOVA
      For the rest, if you will also cluster them and compare, if the variables you are comparing is 2, use ttest and more than 2, use ANOVA
      Is this what you intend to do?

      @@sciencewithdrtess yes po, I will compare them po, so I will use ttest po for 2 variables and anova if more than 2? Do you recommend using averaging/mean po sa paganalyze po ng likert scale ko if gagamit po ako ng ttest and anova?

    Hi question po, ano po kayang appropriate na statistical test ang gagamitin sa mga sumusunod: ,
    1. null hypothesis na there is no significant difference in the job satisfaction level of employees from three agencies? Applicable po ba ang one-way a nova?
    2. At applicable po ba ang Pearson correlation sa SOP: is there a significant relationship between years in service and job satisfaction of employees?
    3. Last po, pwede po ba gamitin ang Chi square if we want to find out the age group with the highest and lowest job satisfaction? Thank you po.

      SOP 1 and 2 - correct statistical tool
      SOP3 - no need for chi square since you will just determine the lowest and highest and it is already found in your survey data.

    Hi poo need your help po huhu. What do you think should we do if our SOP goes like this: Is there a significant relationship between the SBFP's benefits and drawbacks and the students' standpoint on SBFP
    In our questionnaire we used a yes or no for the benefits and drawbacks section. Then 5 point likert scale for the students' views and standpoint

      You cannot get the relationship of it if in the questionnaire Yes Or No lang response nila sa drawbacks
      What you can do is change your SOP. Simply know if there is a significant difference between the groups that said yes or no in terms of their views and stand pount. Use Ttesr for this

      This is our SOP:
      1.What is the demographic profile in terms of:
      Age
      Sex
      BMI
      2.What are the respondents' experience with SBFP's benefits and drawbacks.
      3.What are the respondents' standpoint in terms of:
      Service Quality
      Student's Performance
      Hunger Alleviation
      4. Is there a significant relationship between the respondents' experiences on the SBFP's benefits and drawbacks and their standpoint on SBFP

      Ano ang values na nilagay mo sa columns ng Yes or No?
      Hindi puwede pearson r kasi yes or no lang answer ng respondents

      @@sciencewithdrtess Paano po pag negative yung lumabas sa t-value pero yung p-value is more than 0.05? Ibig sabihin po ba nun accept null parin kahit negative ang t-value? nagcomment po ko sa vid niyo about t-test thankyousomuch

      You use one way anova to compare more than 2 variables.
      Now my question is:
      Are you comparing or are you looking at the relationships of your variables?

      SOP 1- this is descriptive
      SOP 2 - Is this the one with likert scale?
      SOP3 -are you looking for relationship / difference between 2 variables?
      Because if you are looking for significant difference use t-test
      Actually, SOP 2 and 3 can still be improved in the way they are written

      Get the individual mean of each of your respondents from the likert scale. at yun gamitin mo sa ttest

    Hello po, ask ko lang po kung tama lang po ba na anova po ang gamitin or multiple regression po.
    Gusto ko po kasing malaman kung ang mga external factors (degree of severity, weather, structure, power outage, type of disaster) at internal factors (policy, machines and equipment, personnel, budget) ay nakaka affect po sa disaster management decisions (search strategy, detection strategy, dispatch)

      Internal factor(IF)---->
      Disaster Mgmt decision (DM)-------------> Effective search and rescue
      External factor(EF)---> ^

      Technology
      then ang mga hypothesis po namin is tatlo (IF has no sig. in DM, EF has no sig. in DM, at Tech has mediating effect in effective SaR). ung questionnaire po namin is 5 point likert.

    hi po! tanong ko lang po ztest po ang dapat namin na gamitin for hypothesis testing. Ang study po namin ay “online readiness of medtech, nursing, and optometry students” ang hypothesis po namin ay “The students of medtech, nursing, and optometry are not ready to face the ney normal way of learning” Ztest po ba dapat ang gagamitin?

      That is not a valid hypothesis for testing.

      @@sciencewithdrtess last na po 🥲 paano po makuha data ng mga courses na yon kasi po given lang po yung data bali i-process na lang po namin. Ang ginawa po namin ay kinuha percentage. Nakadepende po ang online readiness namin sa Learning preferences, Technological skills, at Computer equipment capabilities.

      did you make a likert scale for your questionnaire and include those categories?
      You will compute for the likert scale result in each category per respondent. Then the computed mean will be used for ANOVA. You will have several ANOVA. Iisa isahin nyo i ANOVA per category to determine their readiness in each category. Then get the over all mean ng lahat ng category at i ANOVA nyo uli to determine their level of readiness.

    Ask lang po paano makuha yong anova sa ganitong sitwashon. Bali from questioners kailangan gumawa ng tables, so natabulated na yong table then ano po next step doon para makuha yong anuva niya.ty sa sagot
