Lots of great information in your video. I don’t think slip start helps but it probably doesn’t hurt either. Take the back seats out next time. You will easily get into the 10.8s if not lower. The back seats are easy to remove and then put back in.
Pretty sure after the first run it was fully heated anyway, and the "preconditioning" message went away. I'll rewatch the footage to see. I know by run 3 I canceled it

Track Mode needs parameters for drag racing more for heating the battery so we don’t have to work around with the navigate to supercharger. They could totally add it to the software!

Buddy I have a g82 m4 comp xdrive and absolutely no one buying these s58 engines are keeping it completely stock 😂 just a 400$ jb4 or race chip. Piggy back plug and plays and im running 10.4s at 136mph. And.. thats not even a real tune. These engines can hold 900hp and not break a sweat. To be frank yea this is a cheap budget car but it ain't "head turning" or cool looking at all. Looks like basic traffic with an empty apartment interior. Not tryn hate but that's just the truth. Cant have luxury and all for just 50k.
I'm happy to hear your $120,000 vehicle with mods can beat my $48,000 factory stock daily driver. If I wanted to buy a fast car for that price, I'd buy a Plaid. It would absolutely demolish that BMW. My old 2000 camaro Z28 use to be a really quick streetcar (daily driver) back in the day and could click off low low 12's@111mph. Now its a nerfed settings on an economy car!

Can you pls consider making a video on what you’ve done … as well as what you’re planning or consider doing in the future? And as your math teacher always requested, pls “show your work” by including what products you’ve chosen and why you decided to use a particular product vs others (if applicable). And if you could include before & after pics for the bigger modifications, that’d be “extra credit” amazing. :)
Def a quick budget car for average joes that dont want to spend 100k and more on gas and tunes. I will say it definitely lacks that "head turning" look and luxury expensive looking and feeling interior. My buddy got one and im happy for em.
I actually generally think the car is attractive. The base model is super mehh, but the Performance I think looks pretty good. The carbon accents go a long way
@@Intervention302 I mean he even says how dull the interior looks compared to my m4 with carbon buckets and carbon package. My m4 legit looks like a supercar when u get inside. Red engine start button and everything. He wishes to one day get a m3 or m4 but he's moving up the ladder, albeit quickly now that he works some with me. Exterior wise it's not as bulbous and blow fishy like the first gen becuase the front is more sleek. Looking at it from a side view really throws me off though becuase it looks very lopsided in its design. It goes from very sleek to bulbous all the way to the rear. A cars looks is all perspective though. Enjoy 🥂
Yeah the times are really irrelevant as far as on the street performance. The trap speed tells it all. A 123mph trap speed in the quarter supports a 600hp+ car. For reference, the MS LR traps anywhere from high 127mph to 130mph in the quarter and its rated at 670hp.

I only entered track mode twice to cool down. During those events, the battery temp was never into the yellow, and not even really close Both motors were yellow and "slightly" pulling power. We are talking like 10-20hp though

For 50k to run 10's is pretty good... I'm annoyed that the other parts of the world get a different battery and that the cooling on track is still BS, you cant run a lap in summer without the thing overheating and brakes still not "performance". Overall a pretty good car for the price but there is ton f room for improvemnt.

By setting navigation to a supercharger and letting the battery precondition for 20 minutes people run 10.75

The reason you slowed down so much on the 3rd pass was that you deep staged (even knocked a bulb out deep). Cooling the car down was not needed.

For street driving, which is 99.8% of this cars duty, it's flawless. No overheating issues
