Q: Where are you from?
A: I was born in Pakistan but then moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia when I was only 9 months old. Have been raised and lived there all my pre-married life.
Q:Why do you mention Sweden in your videos?
A: I moved to Sweden after marriage. Lived there for 7 years, then moved back to Saudi Arabia in 2018.
Q: What is your education?
A: I have done a four year honours program in Information Technology and Computing.
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Naveed for 7 years. We have two sons - Yahya is 4 and baby Ziyad is 1 year old.
Q: Why are you Homeschooling him?
A: In general, I am not satisfied with the quality of education in schools. But also, our local school's system (we have only one or two international schools in our city) is not satisfactory. We are aiming to homeschool till 6 years of age for now.

aoa sara i hve seen mNy of ur youtube vdos ..i have been homeschooling my child. your vdos are very helpful. i want to ask you about urdu reading. how do you go about teaching urdu. do you use urdu sounds blending just like in english for example bay alif ba or ba aa baa??? .. whats more helpful?
WalaikumAssalam! Ba aa baaa. That works the best as he has already learned Emglish through phonics. So gets this way better.

First, you have to gradually change the mindset in your home regarding school. If "parhai" means doing a lot of memorization and written work. Then, it will always seem like a burden to kids.
But if we do activity related school, where your focus is on getting the child to understand the topic through doing some practical activity, discussion, watching a video, etc. Then that can bring back the motivation and drive for school work.
