Because if there was a bird strike, the engine would have caught fire when it was at altitude, and the explosion of an oxygen tank does not look realistic because it is in the cabin. Most likely, they shot down the plane with a Panzer C1 anti-aircraft missile system, you can see holes in the turret inside the plane and in the fuselage and wing cover, there are amateur video recordings, and one passenger received a turret wound in his leg. Although the nearest airport is Makhachkala, they deliberately diverted the plane to Kazakhstan, where it was destined, and they wanted the plane to fall into the sea and sink and not be in evidence. @@aresnir2725 It is rather difficult to find another culprit if a civilian aircraft is being shot down by an air-defence missile over Russian territory.
Refusing the plane entry into other Russian airports could have been a deliberate another attempt to deflect blame or avoid scrutiny. Funny how they claim Kazakhstan isn’t a 'real country' when Russia itself owes much of its existence to the lands and legacy of Turkic and nomadic peoples. Historically, much of Russia's territory was occupied steppe land, originally ruled by Turkic nomads like the Kipchaks, Tatars, and Khazars. Even the Russian language is filled with Turkic loanwords, and countless rivers, towns, and regions still carry Turkic names. As for governance, let’s not forget that many so-called 'Russian czars' were German-born or heavily influenced by foreign rulers, while the Russian peasantry lived in serfdom-essentially slavery-well into the 19th century. If we’re going to question the legitimacy of countries, Russia’s own history deserves just as much scrutiny.

Every international airline that flies to Russia must be sued for negligence ... Russia is at war! Making money by doing flights to country at war is a criminal offence.
Should check who was on plane. Was someone in possession of info, knowledge, or connections that someone wanted gone? Also if plane was refused landing in Russian air space and then sent across an inland sea then was it hoped that plane would crash in sea? Bet someone is unhappy that plane with bullet/shrapnel holes made it across.
3:46 Bro is looking at the bullet holes and saying the Russians might have used S300 or S400 missiles 🤦. The whole plane wouldn't be there if they had used those missiles.
Do some homework before commenting on the story. The plane was denied landing at any (far nearer) Russian airport and therefore had to fly an additional approx 350 kms. If it had been allowed to land locally it might have made it without loss of life.
While the war from Russia continues on and taking innocent lives of regular people, why are there sports federations like the ISU still reconsidering to bring Russian athletes back onto the international stage.

US can always quickly determine rather Russia is responsible but when it comes to Israel, the US always has to wait for the Israeli government to decide if they want to be responsible.
What happened is tragic but I can never trust western media to be factual where Russia is concerned.

Don’t fly in a conflict zone with commercial plane loaded with people,in war zone doesn’t sound real smart
This isn't a war zone anymore than moscow is.
It was heading to Russia, kind of unavoidable unless you stop all planes in, out/ around Russia
This has happened before in Russian airspace and again, nothing will happen about it. Innocent people are dead with no justice for them.
They underestimated the skills of the brave pilots and the quality of the plane.
May have? They did .its obvious af
They refused to let the plane land in Russia, but asked that it fly 400km across the sea to Kazakhstan, likely in the hope the plane never makes it and all the evidence ends up on the sea floor... It is clear that Russia cannot provide any guarantees that this wouldn't happen again. The question then is why some airlines are still flying to Russia and what this means in terms of their safety obligations and legal culpability. Given that the vast majority of the Russian fleet cannot fly outside the country, who is going to fly?
Nothing is obvious during war..only propaganda is..

We all should understand, that if they landed somewhere closer to the Russian border, the investigation would be carried out under control of the Russia. It was recklessness to fly in an active war zone
Who was on the plane that might have been important enough to be a target?
hardly anyone. It was a message to Azerbaijan by Russia. The reason is Azeraijan wants to sign a peace deal with Armenia and Russia doesn't want that. Because Russia might lose control over that territory

To be honest i am getting a little bit tired of the Russian Government and country with their lies , lies and lies
Most likely just an accident, but don't expect Russia to take responsibility.

After that yesterday most of the comments were saying it was shot down.
CNN don’t forget about MH17
