The level of details they put into this is insane. In the book pages at beginning, you can spot Hansel and Gretel, Beauty and the Beast, Jack and the Beanstalk, Goldilocks and the Three Bears and many others... During the camera panning before our (adorable) heros wake up, you can see the poisoned apple (Snowhite anyone?), the golden egg, the heads of the Three Little Pigs on a plate and the heads of the Three Bears hanging on a wall. Fantastic. Still waiting for an overpowered Gingerbeauty card. Thinking of it: goosebumps! One year later, still amazing!

Any mtg animated or live actioned series/movie will not have the quality of the teaser/trailers, books or comic books due to the interest of the non creative team behind it, the team that care more about quantity, money and popularity and not quality (for example: what happened with game of thrones). It's sad how much freedom is lost once a story goes to the screens. It is still something worth trying, but i will problably not consider as cannon nothing that is in a mtg series/movie: unless it is genial! ^^ rs

Never in my life did I think I would encounter something that would invoke just as much emotion as the first ten minutes of Up in a shorter amount of time, and yet here we are.
If there's not something that turns Food Tokens into game ending assassin's I will be heartbroken.

@@Yokaiiisama I was more impressed by this trailer than the War of the Spark one. At the time I lost my mind over the WotS trailer, but this one is just even more awesome. I like the theme more and that it didn't focus on the main character I think.

Garruk is the Shrek of this set since he is green/black. Shrek lives in a swamp that is in the middle of a forest
So Prisoner escaped, managed to fight through a castle, even taking out a room with 5 guards in it, only to later be found dead with a fork through his head.
Garuuk is definitely not a prisoner so he didnt escape he was just having fun. And the cookie will never get near to hurting him. Dude kills other planeswalkers for fun.
Rules of storytelling demand that he is. He is the man in the prison cart in the opening. It would not have been included if it had no relevance to the story.
